Adhiraaj was filled with unease at the thought of leaving Ankita alone with Shyamla in the cabin. He felt a strong urge to go back and take her with him, as she had become his addiction and he couldn't bear to be apart from her. For the first time in his life, he felt a sense of loneliness. His hand instinctively reached towards where Ankita had been sitting, seeking her warmth, and a small smile crossed his lips. His peaceful moment was disrupted by the ringing of his phone, irritating to flicker across his face.
He was annoyed that the caller was none other than Raghav, calling from his mobile instead of the satellite phone due to the lack of network in the area. The change in communication methods made Adhiraaj's jaw tense with the anger that something may have gone wrong.
"What?" Adhiraaj snapped in annoyance.
"They are plotting to escape, Saheb," Raghav calmly responded.
"I had a feeling they would try something like that," Adhiraaj said, rubbing his temple.
"I will take immediate action...." "No, let them wander in the woods for a bit. They will ultimately return to the same place," Adhiraaj interrupted Raghav with a smirk. "In the meantime, do not disturb me until the meeting ends. I will handle them when I return," he added with a menacing smile.

Ved watched Adhiraaj's actions during the meeting, noticing his agitation towards someone he made evident to the employees by firing half of the staff present. Ved suspected that Adhiraaj's behaviour might be linked to Ankita. After the meeting, Ved headed to the mini bar and poured scotch into two glasses. As he took a sip from his glass, he placed the other in front of Adhiraaj, who was reclining with closed eyes and a furrowed brow, ignoring the glass in front of him.
"So, Kittu has you on edge," Ved teased, resting on the window sill. However, Adhiraaj chuckled in response.
"She's just really good at keeping everyone occupied," Ved chuckled, recalling his time with Ankita. "You don't deserve that sweet girl," Ved continued, before Adhiraaj pushed him against the window, gripping his collar tightly with anger in his eyes.
"I do deserve her. If it were someone else saying this, they would already be out that window," Adhiraaj retorted. Ved removed Adhiraaj's grip on his collar. He straightened his shirt and moved to sit in one of the chairs.
"You deserve bitches, not a sweet girl. Let her go. If you bring her back today, she'll try to escape immediately. She'll fight against you but never truly accept you," Ved flinched as Adhiraaj slammed his hand on the table, but quickly composed himself with a stoic expression.
Adhiraaj insisted, "I deserve her because I love her," as he trembled angrily.
Ved stood up from his seat and walked towards the door, saying, "What you feel isn't love, Adhi. It's a dangerous obsession that could eventually harm her." He paused near the exit and added, "She may appear strong and confident, but deep down she is delicate and pure. Be cautious with your actions towards her. Don't let your emotions cloud your judgement and lead you to do something you'll regret later." Without looking back, Ved left the room.
After Ved had departed, Adhiraaj muttered to himself, "That's what I love in her. Feisty and bold but still innocent and fragile. I love that combination, just a turn-on for me", with a look of madness in his eyes.

"What's keeping them so long in those woods", Adhiraaj grumbled impatiently while waiting for Shyamla and Ankita near the cabin, wondering what was taking them so long in the woods. He tossed a burnt cigarette on the ground and reached for a fresh one, only to pause when he heard voices. A smirk crossed his face as he lit the cigarette and took a drag, but his expression turned to fury when he saw Shyamla's happy face.
