"Terminate the contract with that fool," Adhiraaj shouted at his PA as he made his way through the corridors of his mansion.

"Please, sir, give him another chance," Daya, his PA, pleaded as he followed behind Adhiraaj.

"Consider yourself lucky I didn't kill him," Adhiraaj shouted back, causing the staff to tremble in fear.

"Sir, he is a significant shareholder," Daya reminded Adhiraaj.

"Well, then tell him to sell his shares and leave my company," Adhiraaj yelled, grabbing Daya's collar.

"But he holds a substantial amount of shares, second only to Ved Saab," Daya tried to explain to Adhiraaj. "And if he sells the shares, Malik Saab is ready to buy them. You know what that means." Daya tried to convince him.

"Do I appear to have amnesia?" Adhiraaj scoffed at Daya, causing her to tremble with fear.

Everyone understood why Adhiraaj had been anxious for the past week since Ved's accident. In the early hours after their engagement, Adhiraaj was sleeping peacefully with his little dove when he received a call from an unknown woman claiming to be calling from Ved's phone, informing him that Ved had been in an accident and was in the hospital.

Ved had been supporting him for as long as he could remember, and they both were pillars of strength for each other. Despite minor issues involving Ankita, their bond remained strong. Ved believed that Adhiraaj needed a gentle and innocent life partner, but he never considered sacrificing Ankita. However, if fate brought them together, Ved would accept it as long as they were happy.

Adhiraaj suspected that Ved's accident was not just a coincidence, but a deliberate act by his enemies. He conducted an investigation and confirmed his suspicions. The person behind the accident wanted to harm Adhiraaj, assuming that if Ved died, he would be an easy target. However, this person didn't realize that harming Ved would ultimately lead to their demise.

Adhiraaj caught the suspect within three days and subjected him to severe torture, stopping just short of killing him. He desired for the man to suffer a slow and painful death as payback for his brother's tragedy. While seeking vengeance against the man, he discovered that there was a traitor in his midst attempting to steal a major contract from his company. To his dismay, the culprit turned out to be one of his board members and the second largest shareholder right behind Ved. Although he was tempted to kill him immediately, he managed to control himself. Adhiraaj wanted to show the traitor his true form.

"Invite his family for lunch. I need some amusement," Adhiraaj instructed Daya. Daya was filled with fear as he understood Adhiraaj's intentions.

Daya's curiosity was piqued when Adhiraaj headed towards the pool instead of his study, where he still had work to do. Seeing Malti nearby, Daya figured out why Adhiraaj had chosen to go to the pool area.

"Saheb!" Daya exclaimed as he recalled something rushing towards him.

"What?" Adhiraaj responded impatiently while opening the doors.

"What about the shares?" Daya inquired, not wanting the issue to remain unresolved.

"Purchase them all," Adhiraaj smirked mischievously, "in the name of Ankita Adhiraaj Vashisth," he closed the doors in front of Daya before he could respond or ask further. Daya looked at Malti sheepishly, causing her to shrug and walk away.

Upon entering the pool area, Adhiraaj experienced a sense of tranquillity that had been absent from his life for years. His gaze wandered in search of the source of this peace, eventually settling on a girl seated in a lounge chair, gazing blankly ahead. Despite her sadness, the setting sun's rays reflected off her face, giving her a radiant appearance. It had been a week since he had last been in the presence of his angel. In the stillness of midnight, he would sneak into her room and cuddle with her while she slept. He was grateful to begin each day by her side.
