Ankita was sitting gloomily on a swing that Adhiraaj had tied outside the outhouse. It had been three days since Adhiraaj took her shopping, and since then, her suspicions had grown stronger. The next day, Ankita woke up late due to tiredness and found herself in a locked room. When she asked Shyamla about it, Shyamla always shooed her away, saying that the room was full of Adhiraaj's belongings. But when Ankita saw the room, she realized that it looked like it was designed for a girl. The interiors seemed to have been personally taken care of while designing it.
Ankita discovered that Adhiraaj had subscribed to every OTT platform and connected it to the television in the room. Her suspicion grew stronger and when she confronted Shyamla about it, Shyamla reacted angrily. Ankita was confused and did not understand why Shyamla had raised her voice in response to her simple question. She was unable to forget the incident and sat on the swing, feeling gloomy and lost in thought.
"I found you!" she flinched, feeling scared at the sudden sound of a male voice out of nowhere.
"You startled me," she said, twisting her lips.
"I thought you would say 'I missed you,'" Nandan said, pouting in disapproval.
"You left without telling me," she said with a sigh.
"You did the same," Nandan responded.
"You weren't around to tell," Ankita explained to Nandan.
"Forget it. It's been a while since we've seen the Pani Puri vendor," Nandan said with a smile. Hearing this, Ankita's sad expression lit up like a bright lightbulb.
"Wait a minute," she said as she jumped off the swing and hurriedly ran into her house. After a few minutes, she reappeared with a small pouch hanging from her wrist.
"Chale? (Shall we go?)" she asked, twirling around and making her frilled skirt sway. Nandan giggled at her playful antics and waved his hand, inviting her to walk with him. However, they were both unaware of the angry and prying eyes that were watching them.

Adhiraaj was standing on his bedroom balcony, intensely watching the scene below him. His hands were tightly clutching the railings, making his knuckles turn white. He couldn't bear the sight of seeing 'his Raniji' smile and lift her eyes towards a man who wasn't him.The last bit of his self-control slipped away when he saw Ankita happily walking with the boy. His jaw clenched, his breathing became erratic, and he fumed with anger. He hurriedly made his way to the mansion's entrance, nearly stumbling over his PA in the process. Ignoring him, he harshly pushed him aside and headed for the Royal Enfield parked at the entrance. He pushed the guard who was about to sit on the bike and took his place, reaching out for the helmet. After placing the helmet on his head, he zoomed off in the direction Ankita and the boy had gone.
They hadn't gone too far when Adhiraaj, driving his bike at a mad speed, caught up with Ankita and Nandan on their way to the nearby village market. Ankita was happily skipping, while Nandan was lazily pushing his cycle, blabbering something that made Ankita giggle. Adhiraaj was momentarily relieved at the distance between them but still fuming with anger when he saw 'his Raniji' smiling at the boy.
Adhiraaj slowed the bike to maintain distance from them. He did not want Ankita to know that he was following them. He knew Ankita was innocent, and the boy was intentionally getting close to her, despite knowing to whom Ankita belonged.
He parked the bike a short distance away from the Pani Puri vendor where Ankita and Nandan were standing, glaring at them with anger in his eyes. He was tempted to grab her hair and forcefully take her towards the estate while also wanting to break the boy's jaw for speaking to 'his precious'.
