"Sir, I have designed the room to meet your specifications," the architect addressed, swiveling his laptop towards Adhiraaj, who was gazing vacantly at the mango garden while smoking a cigarette.

Currently, he sat by the poolside, engaged in a meeting with the architect to discuss the renovation of his chamber. This marked the third architect he had consulted within the week. Regrettably, the previous two failed to elicit any approval from Adhiraaj, paying a fatal price. The architect perspired profusely, noticing Adhiraaj's apparent disinterest in his work.

He contemplated that he would meet the same fate as the previous two individuals. He blinked twice upon noticing Adhiraaj's smile, but quickly nodded upon observing his emotionless expression.

"Leave ," Adhiraaj's deep voice reverberated, causing disturbances in the pool.

"Sir, however...," "I explicitly instructed for you to leave," he growled in a vexed manner.

The man hastily exited, ensuring he took his laptop with him. He could attempt to amaze Adhiraaj at a later time, assuming he remained alive. Provoking Adhiraaj equates to having a death wish.

Upon realizing that the man had departed, he proceeded towards the mini bar and proceeded to pour himself a serving of scotch. He took a sip, allowing the distasteful liquid to cascade down his throat, relishing in its burning sensation.

With eyes tightly closed, he reopened them only to fixate upon the garden, observing intently as if something intriguing was transpiring. Walking towards the glass wall that overlooked the garden, he positioned himself there, placing his palm against the glass and swirling the glass of scotch with his other hand. Without diverting his gaze from the garden, he took another gulp of the unpleasant liquid, causing a smug grin to emerge as he noticed Ankita approaching the garden.

Ever since their encounter a week ago, Adhiraaj had taken to observing the activities of the girl from his pool area. All of his morning appointments had been relocated from his study to the pool area, baffling those around him. Known for his inclination towards solitude, the sudden change in his behavior left everyone pondering the underlying cause.

Furthermore, his mood swings became increasingly volatile, causing confusion and bewilderment among his associates. Abruptly, he would dismiss everyone during meetings, leaving them indefinitely postponed without any explanation. Not a single person dared to challenge him or inquire about his reasons. Some speculated that Ved's absence was the cause of their Saheb's turbulent disposition.

Desperate to regain control over Adhiraaj's emotions, they attempted to reach Ved, as he was the only one capable of calming him. However, Ved's preoccupation with business prevented him from returning to the estate for at least a week. Unbeknownst to everyone, their Saheb had encountered a woman who seemingly possessed the ability to manipulate him through dark forces.

Observing Ankita approaching his mansion, he savored the imagined scent of her presence, breathing it in deeply through the sheer glass. She was dressed in a faded cotton printed skirt and blouse, along with a faded and mismatched dupatta wrapped securely around her body, fastened at her waist. She accessorized with a black thread chain, black metal earrings, and two glass bangles on each hand. Her hair was neatly styled in two braids, with flowers adorning one of them. She had a charming appearance. His desire was to playfully tug at her braid and passionately kiss her, causing her to forget the outside world. He wished to marry her immediately and make her his own. However, considering her status as a minor, marrying her would not grant him legal claim, and he feared that someone may exploit this loophole to separate them, which only heightened his anger. A faint smirk appeared on his face as her eyes widened with fear and unease.
