Shyamla remained despondent in her residence while Lakshmi contemplated on the information she had recently received. Lakshmi grew doubtful when Shyamla was absent during the lunch gathering at the Grand Feast . Thus, she decided to pay a visit to Shyamla' s house  to ascertain her well-being. Upon arrival, Lakshmi discovered Shyamla in profound distress, with a silver tray placed before her. Through persistent persuasion, Lakshmi eventually succeeded in eliciting the details of Shyamla's plight. Nevertheless, she initially harbored skepticism towards Shyamla's assertion that Adhiraaj desired to marry Ankita.

Gradually, upon recollecting the priest's words, she began to consider the possibility that Adhiraaj could indeed be the embodiment of the demon, and thus, it would not be surprising if he had intentions to wed Ankita. Both she and those present cast skeptical glances towards Adhiraaj when the priest presented the prasaad to Ankita after having served it to him. At that moment, whispers could be overheard circulating among the attendees.

She was surprised when the priest's words became true so fast that she was not able to digest the fact. She tempted to tell about the priest's prediction in Ankita's horoscope but stopped not wanting to make Shyamla worry more than she was in. She tried to make Shyamla eat something but the woman on the other hand was totally lost in sadness.

To the best of her understanding, Ankita was largely in their company. She steadfastly followed the same path from the temple to the quarters without deviation. Each day, she was escorted by the priest's sons until they reached the quarters. However, it is puzzling when and where Adhiraaj first encountered Ankita. It is unlikely that he would abruptly put  the wedding proposal without having laid eyes on her or ascertained her identity.

"This marriage will devastate Kittu's life," Shyamla wept. "He will utterly ruin her." Shyamla had been repeating this for the past thirty minutes.

"Kittu is still a kid, didi. I believe saheb is not in his right mind. Once he realizes it, he will retract the proposal himself. Don't worry about it," Lakshmi attempted to persuade Shyamla for the past half hour, but it seemed futile as Shyamla was unreceptive.

"Adhi is completely aware of his actions. He had everything arranged in advance. He even finalized the wedding date," Shyamla finally exclaimed.

"Allow Ved saab to return to the estate, as Saheb will listen to him. Ved saab will undoubtedly ensure the safety and protection of his sister from that rakhsas, didi," Lakshmi confidently stated.

"I do hope that is the case," Shyamla sighed, as she rested her head between her knees. She was overwhelmed with exhaustion from the numerous events occurring in their lives. Just when she believed their lives were getting back on track after her brother and his wife's passing, this marriage proposal threw their lives into disarray.

Both individuals jolted abruptly as the door swung open unexpectedly.

"They are here , Kittu," Pihu proclaimed upon peering into the dwelling. Ankita exhaled in relief and proceeded to enter the premises, clutching a disposable plate in her hands. She knelt before Shyamla and pushed the silver platter, unaware of its contents. Subsequently, she placed the disposable plate containing food before Shyamla.

"I was frightened, bua . I patiently awaited your arrival for an extended period, hoping to share a meal together. I had concerns that something untoward may have happened to you due to Saheb's actions. My worry consumed me to such an extent that I refrained from consuming any food. I currently feel hunger, bua, so may we proceed with our meal?" Ankita gently pulled Shyamla's hand, only to have Shyamla abruptly withdraw from her grasp. Shyamla averted her gaze from Ankita, attempting to conceal the tears that streamed down her face.

If Ankita were to witness her current condition, numerous queries may arise within the mind of that naïve young girl. Currently, she is not in a position to respond to any inquiries as she lacks the necessary answers. It is impossible for her to divulge that she had made  Ankita as a scapegoat for Adhiraaj's lustful desires.
