"How could you" Kim dal asked his wife. He was in so much pain and in disbelief. He just found out his wife cheated on him and even had a child
   "I want a divorce" Ae-cha said with no emotions
   Dal went stiffed the moment she said that. He loved his wife so much.
  
Ae-cha and Dal are both south Koreans and they have been married for some years now with a five year old son "Haneul". Ae-cha works as a waitress in one of the most expensive restaurant in south korea while Dal was a civil servant.
 
Although, they were not rich, they were also not poor either and they were comfortable. Dal and his wife were happily married until dal found out his wife cheated on him with an Italian business man.

FLASHBACK
  years before Haneul was born:
Ae-cha works in an expensive restaurant so she is bound to meet foreigners and that was how she met Luciano Colombo a wealthy Italian business man . Ae-cha tried to resisted his charms but she was enchanted by his expensive gifts.

Ae-cha started going out with Luciano. Days turned into months and months turned into years,slowly she started losing interest in her husband . Several months later, Ae-cha found out she was pregnant.
On the phone
"Luciano I have something to tell you" she said with hesitation
   "And what is that" Luciano answered
   "Hmm I...I....I... Am pregnant" she replied looking around to make sure no one was there.
  
"So what is the problem" Luciano asked raising one of his eye brows
  "Am married Luciano" she said slowly realising the problem she is in
   After,a moment of silent Luciano finally said calmly
  "Do not do anything to my child"
  " Then what do you expect me to do am married. I can't give birth to another man's child when I don't even have a child with my husband yet" she screamed into the phone
   "Come to Italy I will prepare everything" he said calmly
    "What!!!" Ae-cha exclaimed
    "How is that helping us and what will I tell my husband" she continued.
  "Say anything I don't care I want you here for your delivery" Lucia no said
  " But..." Ae-cha was interrupted when she heard a peep
  " He hung up" she said shaking her head
 
   Weeks later, Ae-cha is currently in Italy. She told her husband that she was offered her dream job in Italy and being the supportive husband he was, he let her pursue the job without questioning.
 
   Ae-cha stayed in italy for a year after giving birth to a baby boy "Ethan" and then came back to south Korea to her husband. Everything seems fine, Ae-cha makes sure she talks and see her son. She travelled to italy every weekend. Although Dal was suspicious but he didn't ask questions as he thought he was her job.

  A year later,she got pregnant and give birth to Haneul. The moment she found out she was pregnant she was not happy. She planned to divorce Dal and return to Italy And marry Luciano instead but now her plans was ruined and that made her hate Haneul. She saw him as a stone in her path to a luxury life so she never show any love to Haneul.

This made the couple agrues every day until Dal discovered her secret.

PRESENT TIME
  20 years Ago
   "You went a divorce" Dal asked in a disappointed tone
  "Yes I have a son to return to" she said no emotions
   " And what About Haneul?" Dal asked looking at her
  " I don't care about that brat" she looking back at him
 
  Dal couldn't believe his ears "what happened to the woman he loved". He laughed
  "Ok let's get divorced".

  Six months after, the divorce Ae Cha got married to Luciano and life has not been easy for Haneul. His father turned into the life of drinking. He doesn't care what happens to Haneul,what he eats and what he does
  "Daddy am hungry" five years old Haneul said
  "Get out!!! You useless child" Dal screamed and pushed Haneul down and left the room leaving Haneul crying on the floor.

    Few days later, Dal was found dear due to drug overdose. Haneul was send to an orphanage home . The news got to Ae cha, although she didn't care. She still decided to bring Haneul to live with her
Haneul was happy when he heard his mother was coming for him not knowing the worse was about to happen.
