Luciana's pov
"Mom you know I don't like going to parties" I said groaning, looking at my mom who was glaring at me.

"It's not just any party, it's your father's birthday party and you need to be there" she said.

"Do I really need to be there"

"Luci I don't what any excuses. You will be coming to your father's birthday and that is an order" she said harshly.

I sighted "ok"

"Good and oh please bring my adorable son in law too" she said with a smile

Oh wow she was furious moments ago but now she all smiley cos of Han. I guess noone can resist his charms.

Thinking about Hanuel,my mind difted back to what happened at the cafe few weeks, Hanuel wasn't ready to let me know what happened at day so I had to find any source Clara.

She told me how he was bullied by that bitch Aurora and her dumbo friends,I was so furious.

When Hanuel get to know that I had find the truth,he begged me not to do any with his adorable eyes I couldn't say no so I promised not to do anything but that doesn't mean my men wouldn't do anything

He made me promised not to touch her but he didn't say my men shouldn't,so I send Luna to take care of them. Teach them a lesson they will never forget.

"Luci are you listening to me" I heard my mom's voice, I turned to look at her with a confused look.

"Huh"

"You..." She said pointing at me with furious eyes,I just know she was going to curse me out. One thing my mother hates is not paying attention when she speaks.

She breaths in slowly to calm herself down
"I said you and Hanuel are going to be stay at our mansion till the party starts"

"Why do we have to go there?"

"Luci don't test me pack your shit and come to the mansion or else you will be sorry" God this woman and her temper. How does dad live with her?

"Ok mom"

She nodded her head in approval "well I have to go, I have a lot of planning to do"

"Bye mom" I said and she left.

Few minutes after she left, someone came in. I was busy with paperwork so I didn't see who walked in but as soon as the person stood close to me,I immediately knew who it was.

"What's wrong baby?" I said softly looking away from the papers in my hands staring into his eyes.

He shook his head,came in front of me and sat on my lap cuddling on my chest.

I was shocked this is the first time he has ever done this.

"Is everything alright,? I asked recovering from my shock as I gently patted his back.

"Yes" I heard he mumbled

"I just want to stay with you"he continued.

Oh, this is some thing new and I definitely like it. I patted his hair gently for sometime before going back to work.

Hours later,he fell asleep on my lap. I gently got up, carrying him to the couch in my office and placed him there to sleep comfortable. He stirred alot while mumbling some incoherent words.

I chuckled a little and placed a kiss on his forehead before moving back to my chair and continued to work.

Being in a mafia is not easy especially when you are the boss. Enemies everywhere wanting to kill and destroy you, Betrayal from family members and your men, people stealing from you and so on.
