Emma POV

I wince a bit as he seemed to be unconscious now. I get worried quickly and quickly get on my knees to check up on him. "Hogarth! Hogarth... wake up Hogarth." I feel and hear the giant right next to us as I gaps in fright making me sit on my butt with my hands behind me supporting me to stay up. I make sure not to leave Hogarth as I look up at the giant as it looks down at me. I try to take deep breaths as the giant then bends down to get a closer look at us as I flinch. I then feel Hogarth wake up as he seems to notice the giant right above us as he moves back a bit quickly as I then feel him wrapping his arms around my waist pulling me back right into his chest as I don't break eye contact with the giant. We then watch as the giant creaks moving backwards to sit down like us as he makes everything rumble and us jumping from the ground a bit. We just sit there looking at each other not knowing what to do as I slowly extend my legs out becoming fascinated by this giant. We then see the giant copying me also extending its legs out. Hogarth and I look at each other curious at what's it doing as Hogarth then asks the giant, "So, I guess you're not gonna hurt us, huh?" We watch the giant lift its hand over to us as we flinch, holding each other closer, closing our eyes, not knowing what it's going to do. But we then hear something clattering onto the ground in front of us as we open our eyes seeing it was the switch from the power circuit. I lean towards it, touching it as I slowly say, "The shut-off switch." We look at the giant, "You saw us save you." I tilt my head to the side as it does the same.

Hogarth then scoots over right next to me as he asks the giant, "So, where are you from?" The giant just looks at us not saying anything as Hogarth continues, "You came from the sky, right? From up there?" He points up into the sky as the giant looks up, seeming not to understand as we looked confused as I softley as, "Don't you remember anything?" It just tilts its head as I notice the dent on top of it's head as I hummed a bit adding, "Maybe it's that bump on your head." I use my hand to show where the bump is as the giant touches the dent he has but still doesn't talk. Hogarth then asks, "Do you talk?" I add, "You know, words? Like, blah, blah, blah, like that?" I smile, "Can you do that? Blah, blah, blah?" We then hear the giant do a very terrible blah as it sounds out of tune making us cringe a bit but then I smile giggling a bit as Hogarth says, "Well you get the idea anyway. Lets see." He then picks up a rock showing it to the giant, "See this? This is called a rock." I nod, "Can you say rock?" The giant then speaks, repeating, "Rock." We smile as I nod, "Good." We then see him reaching over us as we flinch a bit to see him grabbing a big boulder in his hand as he asks, "Rock." I nod, "Yes!" We then watch him pulling out a tree from the ground showing us, "Rock." I shake my head as Hogarth says, "No, no. That is a tree." He points to the rock first, "Rock." Then he points to the tree, "Tree. Get it?" The giant repeats, "Rock. Tree." I smile, clapping my hands feeling proud, "That's right!" I look at Hogarth excitedly as he does the same as he then says, "Wow! Our own giant robot. We're the luckiest kid in America!" I watch Hogarth stand up as he begins ranting as the Giant and I just watch him, "This is unbelievable. This is the greatest discovery since... I don't know, television or something! We gotta tell someone. We should call someone..."

I quickly stood up not liking that idea, "No." He looks at me as I continue, "They'll panic. People always wig out and start shooting when they see something big like him." Hogarth nods, "You're right." The giant hums in confusion as I look at him, "Oh, wig out. It means crazy. You know, like, uh..." I make a silly face and make a little bit of gibberish noise trying to prove my point. But Hogarth chuckles thinking it was more cute than silly. The giant copy's me as he does the same movement and gibberish making me stop smiling a bit as Hogarth says, "No, no, no! Don't do that!" The giant stops as Hogarth explains, "That's the kind of stuff that makes them shoot at ya." I then say, "I thought that was cute." He looked at me confused, "What? It did?" I nod a bit making him pout a bit as I chuckle bumping my hip with his, "Don't worry, you're my number one on my cuteness list." He turns a bit red but smiles a bit. Hogarth then begins to explain his thoughts on what we should do as I decided to sit down next to the giant's leg as we watch him rant as our eyes begin to get tired, but we still try to keep awake for him as he says, "So, we can't call 'Ripley's Believe It or Not' because they wouldn't believe it. And, uh... Oh, it's gettin' dark and if we don't go home soon, mom's gonna wonder where we are. And if she comes looking for us and sees you then we got the screaming problem again. So, for now, w-would you, you know, just... Just stay here, okay? Let's go Emma."
