3rd POV
Hogarth makes his way upstairs opening the door to the left as he sees the hand unrolling the toilet paper as Emma was trying to get him to go out the window as she was pushing the hand, "Get out! Stop playing with the toilet paper and go back to the rest of your body!" They both stop looking at Hogarth as they both have a sheepish expression as he gasps. Back to the adults Annie tells Kent, "Strange, he's so tight-lipped now. And the other night he couldn't stop talking. I mean, 100-foot robots and what not. Even Emma was agreeing with him." Kent chuckles, "A 100-foot robot? That's nutty!" They both laugh as Kent gets serious again, "What else did they say?" They then hear a girl's voice yell, "No, wait, stop!" Then a thud. Annie then starts walking away saying, "Excuse me." Back with the other three in the bathroom Hogarth and Emma were grunting almost getting the whole hand out of the window. They then hear knocking on the door as Annie's voice makes it through from the other side, "Emma? What's going on in there?" The two kept on pushing as they grunt a bit as Annie asks, "Are you alright, sweetie?" Emma then says, "I'm fine... Just hard to get this stickiness of my clothes... really gross. Kent was upstairs with Annie as he heard this as they heard her grunt again as he says, "You know, that's why you should just drink water rather than juice." Annie turns to him glaring. They two finally push the hand out of the window as it makes a loud thud. They then hear Annie say, "Emma?" The two looks at each other as she pushes Hogarth behind the bath curtains where no one will see him as she quickly takes off her shirt and unbuckles her shorts letting it slide down to the floor as Annie says, "Emma?"
Annie opens the door in worry just as Emma lifts her shirt covering herself the best as she can from the two adults shrieking in fright and embarrassment as Annie also yells a bit embarrassed not meaning to walk in on her getting ready to take a shower as Emma yells, "A little privacy! Out!" Annie says, "Aah! Sorry." Kent had his head peeked in making Emma more embarrassed as she threw a bottle at them hitting Kent's face as Annie closed the door slamming his face against it at the same time. He pulls away yelping in pain as he rubs his face. Annie tells him, "Sorry. Oh, Lord, the two have been acting strange lately." "That hurt." Inside the bathroom Emma sighs in relief as she then looks out the window seeing the hand makes its way inside the barn house. Emma turns back around picking up her shorts as she says, "That was a close call." She then hears Hogarth say, "Sure was." He was hiding so he couldn't see anything either as he gets out of the current to see Emma not wearing clothes as the two begin to blush furiously as Emma says, "Turn around!" He quickly does so embarrassed, "Sorry! I'll go out now." He starts shifting towards the door as Emma then says, "Wait." She walks over to him as he turns around. She quickly places her hand covering his eyes not wanting him to see her as she says, "I really do need new clothes and a shower. Could you get them for me?" "S-sure." "Thank you." She then places a kiss on his cheek making her more flustered and him shocked as she then opens the door pushing him out and quickly closes it leaving him standing there stunned. He then slowly processes it as he touches his cheek where she kissed it and then begins to smile dreamily walking to his room to get her clothes.
Kent had left as Hogarth waited for a bit as Emma finished taking a shower and changing as they began to eat their dinner again. After they finished, they went to the barn house with some things they brought from his room as they opened the door and Hogarth says, "If you're gonna stay here, you gotta keep better track of yourself." Emma closes the door as she says, "It was a real rollercoaster, to be honest. Anyway, we thought you'd like, you know, a bedtime story or something." Hogarth nods, "I've got some really cool ones." The Giant gives the two a curious look nodding wanting to see what the two have.
Emma POV
We sit down in front of the Giant as he lays on his stomach holding his head up with his two hands as he listens to us. Hogarth shows him a comic book saying, "MAD Magazine', very funny." I picked one up showing it to him, "The Spirit,' very cool." Hogarth showed him another one, "Boy's Life," We looked at each other and said at the same time, "Eh..." We both laugh as I then spot a magazine as I quickly grab it excitedly, "Oh, here. This guy is Superman." Hogarth nods just as excitedly, "Sure, he's famous now, but he started off just like you." The Giant hums as I add, "Crash-landed on Earth. Didn't know what he was doing. But he only uses his powers for good, never for evil." I place it down with the other comics as Hogarth nods, "Yup, remember that." We then see the Giant move the comic over a bit revealing another one as we looked at what it was as Hogarth says, "Oh, that's Atomo, the metal menace. He's not the hero. He's the villain." I nod at the Superman comic, "He's not like you. You're a good guy. Like Superman." I place the comic book back for him to look at again as the Giant says, "Superman." He then moves up a bit looking down and holding his stomach as it grumbles as I say, "Oh, you're hungry, aren't you?" "Mmm-hmm." Hogarth then says, "But I don't have any metal here. Just follow us." We all stand up as Hogarth and I lead the Giant outside.
