~Present time~

Y/n POV:

We watched as the sorcereress realeased spells into the sky. Casting shadow magic across Duckberg. We watched as shadows were coming together in her prowess, combing the magic with the shadows to create an army. That's when also our own shadows came to life to join the shadow army. "So, still going to Cape Suzette, right?" Louie asked. Really? Nows not a good time Louie. "Cool, yeah I'll start the boat." He said as we walked off. I pulled his hood back for him to stay.

We watched as Magica went to Scrooge's money bin and casted a spell to cause an explosion, an opening as she made herself at home. How could of this even happen?! Wasn't she sealed for centuries?! If everyone's shadows are attacking, wouldn't that mean..Gyro and his crew! I'm praying to all the Gods that they are all right.

"Magica De Spell!" Granny exclaimed as she looked at Donald and I. "Wait, who?" Dewey questioned. "Magica De Spell. A vile sorceress with a mysterious, ancient grudge. She's Scrooge's bitterest rival, but no one's seen her since they thought on Mount Vesuvius 15 years ago." Webby explained. Well looks like the Fangirl has done her research.

"All right, all! Cool heads!" Granny exclaimed. "We must help Scrooge before anything else-." We we're interrupted by a large seaweed tentacle thing, grip on to the boat edge. We all screamed in terror as the other arm was on the boat. "Take my brothers first please!" Louie whined as he pushed his brothers up. Wow. Such loyalty.

I held my arm out in front of the kids. But, the monster revealed itself as...Manny? "Oh." Came in Donald. "It's just Manny!" Huey exclaimed. "Manny, what are you doing here?" I asked. But before he answered my question, he pulled out Gyro and Lil Bulb from the water. I gasped and smiled. Thank the gods that he and the others are safe!

"That's it!" He exclaimed. Lil Bulb unscrewed his head to let the water pour out. "No more underwater labs! It's volcanoes or abandoned castles from now on!" He said as Manny pulled him up and he took off his hat to shake the water off. That..doesn't sound any better. I ran up to him and hugged him which gave him an "oof" in response. "I'm glad you're alright!" I know I'm embarrassing him in front of everyone, but I don't care. He pushed me off quickly and his face turned red in embarrassment.

"Of course I'm fine! Why wouldn't I be?!" "Um, I don't know, maybe cause there's a giant shadow whirlpool in the sky which our shadows came out to." He rolled his eyes. "Y/n, who is that?" Granny asked. "Gyro, my boss and an old friend of mine." I replied walking back to them. I saw a rag on the side of the deck and grabbed it.

"Dr. Gearloose? What happened?" Huey asked. I walked up to Gyro and handed him the rag. He muttered a "thanks" before cleaning his specs with the rag. "Our own shadows came to life and wrecked the lab." Huey was about to say something but Gyro interrupted him. "But, my Shadow Control Ray is still in the test phase, so this one is NOT on me."

He then threw the rag in my face. I scoffed as I took it off and cleaned Lil Bulb. "We know it's not you, it's that." I said pointing up to the cloud. "Well I get blammed for everything, for all you know, these idiots probably thought I caused THAT." He replied. I frowned as I put the rag back on the side deck.

"Everybody listen up!" Donald started. We gave him his attention. "Uncle Scrooge is in trouble and it's up to us to help him!" I nodded. "Right! We can do this!" I looked at everyone else though and noticed it was silent. They gave each other confused glances. "What?" They all asked. I frowned. "Did anyone get any of that?" Asked LP. "I did." I muttered. "It's mostly context clues." Commented Huey. "We get like every third word." Louie added. "Nope, completely unintelligible." Said Dewey. "Y/n, you understood him! You can be our translator!" Exclaimed Webby. "It's not that hard guys." I frowned. "Easy for you to say." Replied Dewey.
