Y/n POV:

This was my first adventure with my family in years! Well..I was mostly told to protect my little sister from any danger, which is mostly relevant with Scrooge, but I also get to bond with my little sister after not seeing her for the past 10 years. Donald was also coming, he wanted to also spend time with me he stated but wasn't too excited about going.

Oh yeah, and I had to explain about this to Gyro. How I might be off for some days, but will make sure that I would be able to come in to work right at the next day. To my surprise, he of course didn't take it well, especially with the fact that I just got here and now was ditching work. It took minutes to get him to finally agree to it, he said he would fire me if I missed more than 24 hours without working. Fair enough I suppose. A deal is a deal.

Our first adventure actually had to do with seeing an family member of Donald's. Never met him, but Donald always talks about how his luck gets him a teeny bit jelly. Donald's cousin, Gladstone Gander. Now this adventure doesn't MAINLY have to do with seeing him, but also to what Scrooge says...

"The Temple of the Golden Cricket." The Scottish adventurer started. "Every 50 years, at sundown, the golden cricket emerges singing its ethereal song. Some say the song holds the answer to life's greatest mysteries. How did we get here? What's our purpose in the universe?" "Man do I miss these tales." I commented. Scrooge was about to say something to me, but was interrupted by Louie (green one), who was looking out of the window, away from us.

"Wait, is that a neon hot dog?!" He exclaimed. The rest of the kids joined him to peek at this so called, "neon hot dog." The kids wowed as they all saw the neon lights of the city. I smiled as I walked over to them.

"Yes, yes. The city of Macaw is very exciting to look at." Scrooge started, looking at the other window beside them. "But you'll only find empathy distractions there." "To be fair, I also haven't really seen city lights what feels like centuries." "Japan didn't have those?" Scrooge asked. "Not as big as this place."

"I can't believe Uncle Gladstone is here!" Louie exclaimed. "He's so charming." Huey (red one) commented. "And funny!" Dewey (blue one) added. "He's like the luckiest guy in the world." Louie said. "Uh, Uncle Donald, you must've had the best time growing up with him." Louie said to an grumpy Donald Duck.

I cringed my face. "Quite opposite actually." I stated. "He's the worst. Just the worst." Donald added. "Gladstone Gander is a complete layabout." Came in Scrooge. "I don't know why we're responding to his call." "It was a call for help." Webby stated. "And like Uncle Donald says, "Family always help s family." Huey added. "Why did I say that?" Donald questioned.

"I mean, the kids have a point. I haven't even met this guy, and you guys are acting like he's Glomgold." I said. "That's cause he is like him." Donald responded. "Come on guys! It's Y/N's first adventure and her first time meeting Gladstone Gander! Don't ruin it for my sister!" Webby exclaimed. I smiled. "Webby, it's alright dear." I patted her head.

"You'll be meeting the best of uncles. He's easily our coolest uncle." Louie said. I gave an awkward glance for Donald, who did NOT look happy about this statement. "Hey!" He exclaimed. "Sorry, coolest non-trillionaire uncle." Louie "corrected." "That's not really any better." I mumbled under my breath.

"Hey come on, Uncle Donald is kinda cool." Huey says. We were cut from our thoughts when the plane moved straight down, hitting rubble on the way. "We're all gonna die! I've wasted my life!" Donald exclaimed while putting on an extra seatbelt. Guess it's been a while since he's been on adventures too. The rest of the crew frowned at him while I looked at him concerned. He chuckled embarrassingly in response.
