*1 Week after the Game Night*

It has been at least a week since the.."game night". Apart from that day, things have been pretty chill since. Just the normal adventure stuff and also working. Today though was a particularly special day, because I would be re working on the project that I've always been wanting to finish up.

I was currently in the lab and at my desk. I went to my drawer and picked up the sketch of the watch that I first ever wanted to create. This creation was something I've been wanting to do forever, and since what happened in Tokyo, I haven't looked at it since. But now, I will get back to it and this watch, might just save the world!

Taking the sketch with me, I went back to the lab and placed it on the desktop. As I took my seat, I started researching and looking for the counter parts. While I was doing this, I heard footsteps behind me. Oh boy.

"Is that a watch?" Oh, it was Fenton. I didn't look up but nodded. "Yep, it is indeed a watch." "What's the objective?" I smiled and turned around on the chair. "This watch will hopefully be able to save the world someday, I was working on it in the past but kinda left in the dark. So, I'm getting back into it." Fenton analyzed the sketch. "Oh I understand, so it's kinda like the Gizmo armor, but instead a watch?" I nodded. "Something of those lines."

The doors then slammed open. "Intern!" Ohh here we go. Gyro walked up to the both of us. "Yes Dr. Gearloose?" Me and Fenton said at the same time. "Not you, her." He pointed to me and I just raised a brow. "I need you to accompany Manny to get rid of the science waste. And YOU, need to show me the progression of the magnetic metal finder."

I sighed to my inner self. So much for trying to not be distracted today. As I walked to go do his commands, I saw Gyro looking on the desk...at my drawings. "Aren't they great? Y/N is apparently making a transformation Gizmo watch to potentially impact the entire world!" Fenton gloated. I smiled slightly shyly at the compliment. He's such a sweetheart.

Gyro looked at the sketches. "I remember this, I thought this was already done." I shook my head. "Well ever since- I forgot Fenton was here, he probably never heard of the story. "I lost track of it, but now I'm starting to get back into it." Gyro hummed as he put it down. He thought to himself for a second. "We should have all the parts here and knowing you, you probably never handled Gizmos before, so, before a disaster happens, come to me first." Me and Fenton exchanged looks. "Is that your way of saying you want to help me?"

Gyro gave a flabbergasted look. "Absolutely not! I'm just saying this to..not create a fire hazard. Anyways, just get to work!" He adjusted his glasses (which is the way I pretty much identified that he's nervous) and walked away. Fenton and I looked back at each other. "Did he just.." I just smiled and shook my head. "Yep, he did." Fenton was absolutely shooketh. "I don't think I've ever seen him offer help to someone. Did you do something?" I raised a brow. "What's that supposed to mean?"

I mean, Fenton does sort of have a point. Ever since the game night, I've actually HAVE seen a slight change in Gyro. He's been acting slightly more nicer to me. Just...in his own way, but it was progress!

Manny and I quietly waited in the elevator as we were pushing the big cart of science waste. We should have probably asked Gyro where to put it. Smooth move. The doors opened and revealed Scrooge, Huey, and Webby. "Oh hey kids and Uncle Scrooge." Huey waved and Webby did as well but in a more excited way. "Hi favorite sister!" I chuckled.

Manny then looked to Scrooge and in his hoof language or Morse code, asked Scrooge where to put the science waste. Scrooge then frowned. "For the last time, I'm not sick!" He hit the cart with his cane and walked away. What am I missing here? "We just want to know where to put this garbage!" I said to him in a little impatient voice. Listen, it was rude. Huey and Webby just looked up at us and shrugged. I just sighed heavily and Manny and I went to go look for a place to dump this stuff.
