Authors Note: I Thought I'd give you guys a little bit more of Veylo.

3rd POV:

Veylo waited patiently in his, and now Lo'ak's, hometree. He wished he could have stayed to hear the conversation between the family but knew Lo'ak needed to do this alone.

But he swears to Ewya that if Lo'ak comes back crying again he'll just have to 'accidentally' have a group of thantor's attack the Omaticaya leader and his wife.

No one hurt his mate. No one.

From the minute Veylo had walked up to Lo'ak's hurt form after watching him stumble down the territory line he knew he was screwed. The boy was the definition of breathtaking.

His tiny form and delicate facial features just brought a spark into the warrior's heart. A spark he hasn't felt since he was young and his mother was still alive.

When he picked up the knocked-out Lo'ak into his arms his worries began. He was light, too light. And he had small dark bruises against his torso, one's in which you wouldn't notice unless you were up close.

It wasn't hard for Veylo to understand why. He had demon blood. He noticed the five fingers on Lo'ak's hands when he went to lay the boy down.

Though the warrior did not care. If anything it only made him mad. Mad that someone could hurt such a beautiful na'vi because he was born different.

Veylo's mother had taught him to love and appreciate everyone and everything, no matter what. Ewya had a plan for everyone and everything, so if something was different then so what—it was meant to be that way.

The real shock and moment of complete weakness came to Veylo though when Lo'ak finally came to, opening his eyes.

The blue and golden irises stared at him, burning their way into the order's soul. Veylo was done for. He knew this small boy was gonna be his, even if it meant he gave up everything to move to a different clan.

Thankfully he didn't have to though. When he found out that they were true mates it was like his entire life finally had a purpose. Lo'ak.

Lo'ak was his, forever and always. And he would protect him, even if it was the last thing he did.
