3rd POV:
"—you may know me as Eywa"
To say Lo'ak was shocked would be an understatement. If he wasn't already passed out he would have right at that moment.
He looks at the woman—Eywa—with his mouth hung open, gaping at her.
It takes him a moment before he can actually respond, his laugh ringing through the forest dream-like thing, making Eywa stare in confusion.
"What is so funny, child?" She asks the crackling Na'vi.
Lo'ak's wipes nonexistent tears from his eyes, his laughter dying down, "Eywa? Really? Now I know I'm dreaming!"
Eywa sighs, half expecting this reaction. Of course, Lo'ak wouldn't believe her and think this was all just his brain playing tricks on him. I mean— who would believe that they met the guiding force of life of pandora?
Eywa steps closer the Lo'ak and sets her hand down on the young na'vi's shoulder, making a small ting run through Lo'ak's skin; almost like magic. It flows through him like the blood in his body, only he could actually feel it.
Eywa lets her powers spread through the boy, all the way to his mind where it links itself. The link alone will not only allow Lo'ak to feel the truthfulness and honesty of what she is saying but feel how much power she holds.
"Wha-" Lo'ak gasps, finally believing in what he is being told, "but how?"
Eywa smiles, removing her hand, "You were chosen, Lo'ak. There is so much more to you than you know"
"Who chose me?" More importantly why? Again there were so many other na'vi to be chosen, others who were stronger and better than him, Lo'ak thinks the last part.
"You were chosen by me. And stop thinking such things, child," Eywa says, not liking how her chosen one was thinking badly about himself.
"Wait," Lo'ak speaks, "You can read my thoughts?"
Eywa nods, "Of course, I can. After all, you are part of my creation," she gives a small motherly laugh, "which is partly why I have brought you here" the great mother then says, knowing she needs to explain everything to Lo'ak before it's too late and he wakes up.
"Partly? What's the whole?" Lo'ak questions.
"I'm guessing you've noticed how you were born differently than the others, yes?" Eywa asks, reviving a nod from the boy.
Lo'ak wanted to roll his eyes, of course, he's noticed... he only spent the last 18 years of his life feeling like a freak compared to his clan members.
"Those differences were from me. I gifted you with them— as you noticed I have the same eye color as you."
The clan leader's son frowns, "Why? Why make me different than the others?"
"Because you, my dear, bear the gift one can only dream of"
"And that is-?" Lo'ak's eyebrow raises slightly.
"The gift of Eywa. Everything I do, you will be able to do in time. All living things will be connected to you. You will be able to heal, protect, and give life. You are one with pandora, Lo'ak"
