FINNEY BLAKE and i have been going out for a year now, we're both 16 and very happy with our relationship, but...he still acts like we've been going out for a day, he's always nervous and trips over his words when i'm around

it's cute tho, he still blushes and gets flustered every time i flirt with him, which leads us here

he's cooking dinner, his dad is out of town and he paid gwen $10 to go to a friends house so he could set up a little date for us for the night, he was at the stove cooking some meat in a frying pan, i walked over to him wrapping my hands around his torso

"hello" he said "hi" i said smiling "you ok" he said as he turned around "mhm" i said smiling

"that's good" he said "you look handsome finn" i said smiling, his cheeks immediately flared and his eyes kind of widened, he chuckled nervously

"t-thanks" he said rubbing his neck

i grabbed his hand smiling and brought him over to his dads record player

i played a slow romantic song "what are you doing?" he said, i turned and smiled "dance with me" i said

i grabbed his hands and placed them on my waist, i wrapped my hands around the back of his neck, we swayed side to side to the rhythm of the song, he stared into my eyes which gave me butterflies, "god your gorgeous" he said as he tucked hair behind my ear

i smiled as i played with his hair "thank you" i said smiling

i felt as he pulled me in closer to him by my waist, our body's now touching

he leaned down slowly pressing his lips against mine, my eyes shut as i felt in the moment, his lips were soft and minty, our lips moved in sync

"i love you" he said in between the kiss

i pulled away smiling "i love you too" i said

he smiled tucking hair behind my ear, he slipped his hand behind my ear so his hand was placed on my neck, his thumb gently rubbing my cheek, he stared into my eyes before leaning in again

wasn't gonna lie, finn's never been this confident in our relationship so i was quite shocked about where this came from

but i loved it, i loved him. everything about that dorky boy made my heart flutter
