MASONS POV

TODAY I WAS GONNA ASK OUT my best friend y/n, i'm actually shitting my pants scared cause i have no clue whether she likes me or not.

"just go for it, you're mason thames you could get any girl" miguel said to me, i was at miguel's house, we were waiting for maddy and y/n to arrive

"but i've known her for 3 years now! what if she just thinks of us as friends!" i said "doubt it" miguel said "i've seen the way she looks at you when you're not looking she definitely likes you" miguel said

"she looks at me?" i said, he nodded "with like 'i love you mason' eyes" he said chuckling, i chuckled "i never see her looking at me" i said

"yeah cause you aren't looking dumbass, she looks away before you get a chance to see her, i see it happen all the time" he said

i sighed "i don't know man" i said "dude she likes you! ok" he said, i could tell he was getting impatient with me.

"does she talk about me to you?" i said, he nodded "what's she say!?" i said
"i can't tell, i promised" miguel said

"brooo!" i said "i'm sorry but i'm a loyal man, i don't tell!" he said, i sighed "your not a very good wing man" i said

he grabbed a pillow and whacked me on the head with it "don't even" miguel said, i chuckled, that's when the door bell rang

i turned to Miguel with wide eyes, his eyes were wide too "don't be
awkward k?" he said, i nodded "go!" he said

i got up and ran to the door, i took a break before opening it "hey!" i said smiling "hi!" y/n said smiling, she walked in "uhm...where's maddy?" i asked

"oh she's coming soon" she said, i nodded, we walked to the lounge room "hey y/n" miguel said smiling "hey!" she said as she sat down

"so uhm...y/n could i talk to you" i said, she looked over at me "yeah" she said, i led her to my room.

"so uh..." i said scratching my head, she sat on my bed waiting for me to speak, i sat next to her still thinking of what to say

"i...wanted to tell you" i said, she stared into my eyes in full concentration "that, i...really like" i froze not knowing what to say "your hair" i blurted out

she frowned before chuckling "thank you?" she said chuckling "yeah" i chuckled nervously "is that all or...?" she said "that's all" i said

i was mentally face palming myself, "so you brought me here to tell me you like my hair?" she said smiling "uh...yes?" i said

"well thanks" she said "all good" i said playing with my fingers "well do you wanna go back to miguel?" she said

i nodded, i wanted to cry that was so embarrassing.

MIGUELS POV

y/n and masón we're taking awhile, but maddy arrived so i had company "where's mason and y/n?" maddy asked

"talking in his room" i said "oh about..." she said, i nodded "about time!" she said "i know right" i said laughing

y/n and mason came out of the room, i was expecting them to be like holding hands or something but nope, i looked at mason who was face palming himself

that's means it could've gone to ways, 1 he did it and she said no, or he didn't do it.

mason came and sat next to me "did you do it" i whispered to him, he shook his head "omg" i said sighing

"i'll try do it ok!" he said

i decided to put on a movie to ease the tension, we started watching the movie, that's when mason tapped me

"what?" i said "i'll do it now" he said "ok, i'll get maddy and me outta here but you better do it or i swear i'll do it for you" i said

"i will!" he said "maddy, come with me" miguel said as he walked out of the lounge room, maddy followed miguel.

y/n looked very confused, i walked over and sat next to her "so i lied..." i said, she frowned

"no! i mean your hair looks great i love it! but i was actually gonna ask you something else" i said "sure" she said "what is it?"

"so ever since we met" i started, i saw her immediately smile, it kinda through me off guard, my eyes drifted down to her lips staring at her beautiful smile

"i uh..." i said still staring "you what..." she said "i caught...feelings" i said
she smiled "jeez took you 3 years" she said smiling before pressing her lips against mine

i quickly closed my eyes and kissed back "YEAHHHH" i heard, miguel and maddy came running in, miguel jumped onto the lounge

"FINALLY!!" he said laughing
