"why finn tho? why not robin , you know i heard he's had his eye on you" my best friend alisha said nudging my shoulder

"no offence to robin but im i don't care about the looks i care about personality, finn's got both!" i said shrugging as we walked into class

"no more talk" i said knowing finn was right next to me

me and alisha sat down , the teacher walked in

"ok class get into partners , these will be for the year" the teacher said

i looked around the room

"i see finn's by himself" alisha whispered with a smirk

"don't worry about me i'll go with carol go shoot your shot girl!" she said before getting up and walking to carol

i took a deep breath before walking up to finn

"hey finney need a partner?" i said

"uh yea- no i don't have a partner" he said as he sat down , he looked a bit in shock

i laughed , i turned my attention to the board but was interrupted by the feeling of being watched , it sent shivers down my spine , whoever was watching me was staring right into my soul

i searched the classroom to find the person and i was met with robins eyes

i didn't know what to do so i smiled and turned back to the board

"so uh y/n do you w-wanna...uh" finn stuttered badly

"finn no need to be nervous" i said laughing and placing my hand on his shoulder

"so what did you wanna say?" i said smiling

"uh do you wanna work on the project , i'm free whenever" he said

"yeah sure , this afternoons good for me" i said smiling

"o-oh yeah of course" he said smiling nervously

"if that's ok with you" i said

"yeah of course but could we do it at yours my dad isn't the biggest fan of a girl coming over" he said

"of course" i said smiling

right now i'm waiting at the front school gate for finney , he's late , 20 mins late i'm starting to worry

i looked at the watch that was on my wrist , i tapped my thigh nervously

i sighed and decided to just go home but as soon as i picked up my bag i heard panting

i turned and saw finney , he was all beat up and he was very out of breath

"finn!?" i said

"y-y/n i'm so sorry" he said struggling to get out words

"no no no it's ok are you ok!?" i said

"d-do you have water" he said

"yeah of course" i said as i reached into my bag getting out my water bottle

i passed the bottle to him

"i don't mind finn" i said smiling

he smiled and drank some water

he sighed "thank you y/n" he said

"no problem what happened tho?" i said

"just some dipshits" he said

"i'm sorry finn" i said

"it's ok you know" he shrugged

we headed off to my house , me and finn talked about random things

when we got to my house we headed to my room , i sat my bag down and sat on my bed , finn stood there awkwardly

"you can sit down you know" i said laughing and patting my bed for him to sit

"yeah" he laughed nervously

he sat down on my bed next to me

"so let's talk about the project" i said

"mhm" he said

i started explaining some ideas i had but noticed that finn just kept staring at me

"what do you think?" i said

"huh oh uhhh yeah sounds good" he said

i laughed "you weren't listening were you" i said

"no sorry" he said rubbing his neck

"it's ok" i laughed

we both made eye contact the eye contact gave me butterflies

finney started moving closer to me

"y/n..." he said

"mhm" i said nervously

"why'd you pick me to be your partner , why not robin or...bruce" he said lowering his head

"cause there not" i said lifting his head up

"but i'm the 'loser' you do realise that right , you'll regret hanging out with me" he said

"no i won't...because well...i like you finn" i said nervously

i didn't say anything instead i kissed him

his eyes were widened at first but he eased into it , he placed his on my waist and i was shocked at his touch

we ended up making out (or just kissed)

awhile later we were laying on my bed facing each other

"y/n..." he said

"yes" i said

"do you wanna uhhh be my...girlfriend" he said

"yes! yesss!" i said before kissing him again
