ROBINS POV

I LAID ON MY BEST friend finney's bed as he sat at his desk doing homework "i'm telling you man, she likes you!" finney said "do you think?" i said sighing "trust me, i know!" finney said "i see the way she looks at you, she does, trust me" he continued

"wait for real?" i said as i shot up "yes!" he said "that's a huge confidence boost" i said smiling "well go shoot your shot, dumbass" he said chuckling.

"ill try, i'm meeting her at the park in...SHIT 10 MINUTES" i said as i looked at the clock on finn's desk "ah fuck!" i said as i got up running around "i need more time! i'm not ready! it's too soon!" i said in complete stress

"bro! chill!" finn said "you're robin arellano, literally every girl would sell their kidney for you" he said "bullshit, she wouldn't" i said

"how do you know also you are running outta time!" he said "fuck!" i said "i'm using your cologne!" i said as i sprayed myself.

"alright wish me luck bye!" i said as i ran out of finn's bedroom, running out of his house, i started lightly jogging to the park where me and y/n were gonna meet up.

Y/NS POV — ALSO TW! abuse!

the back of his hand slapped me across my face "what do you do with those boys huh!? you fucking slut" my dad scolded "they're just friends!" i said, tears streaming down my face.

"i don't want you hanging out with those scum bags ever again you got that! go to your room now!" he yelled, i sobbed as i walked up the stairs.

i laid on my bed overthinking, i wanted to still be friends with robin and finn, they were my only friends. i looked over to the clock, i was meant to meet robin at the park in 5 minutes.

i sighed and got up, i splashed my face in water before putting on make up to cover to the bruises.

i grabbed a jumper and jumped out of my window landing softly onto the grass, i began walking to the park, even after a beating i still went to see him, but this was gonna be the last time. i couldn't forever get beaten for hanging out with him.

i arrived there and sat on the swing waiting for robin

ROBINS POV

i arrived there seeing y/n sitting sitting on the swing, she stared at the ground, she looked depressed. "hey y/n" i said smiling as i sat on the swing beside her.

she turned to me before smiling "hey robin how's it going" she said smiling
"pretty good, i was just at finn's" i said, she nodded "nice" she said

"so uh...i actually wanted to talk to you about something" i said, i felt my stomach drop when she looked over at me "yeah? what about?" she said

"uhm...well...i was wondering you wanted to maybe go to the drive in, you know uh...like a date!" i said, i watched her face drop, my stomach sank to my ass in that moment.

"like...romantically?" she said, i hesitated but nodded "i uh..." she started, she looked down at her fingers "i can't" she mumbled

"why, do you not have money? cause i can pa-" "no it's just, i don't like you" she said, i felt like killing myself right then and there. "oh..." i said "why?" i asked

i watched as her eyes got teary "it's just..." she started but hesitated "your a bad influence robin, you get into fights, bad grades" she said, i stared at her in shock, she's never been rude like that before.

"but...i'm a good person you know that!" i said "are you robin?" she said "yes! yes i am!" i said "hurting people isn't an example of a good person" she said

"but y/n you don't realise what it's like to be me in this town, i have to do the things i do, do you think i like hurting people?" i said, i stared into her eyes waiting for an answer.

"i can't" she said as tears welled in her eyes, all of a sudden it started raining lightly, she got up and started walking away "y/n wait!" i said as i started running after her.

i was faster then her so i caught up to her "please, i'll change!" i said, she turned around and grabbed my face pressing her lips against mine.

by now it was pouring rain, it felt like i was in romance film, expect i don't like romance films but this was all i ever wanted, she was all i ever wanted.

i hoped it last forever but it didn't she pulled away, her make up had rubbed off by the rain revealing bruises on her face "wha-...what happened!?" i said holding her face gently

she didn't say anything she just stared into my eyes "y/n!" i said "i do like you robin, i really do but he doesn't like you, he hits me every time he finds out im with you! i didn't mean anything i said" she said breaking down into tears

"who? who hits you?" i said "...my dad" she said "oh y/n" i said sighing as i brought her head into my soaked chest, she sobbed into my chest as we both got drenched in rain.
