The two figures stood still, marking their places between good and evil, the demon's blue eyes once again meeting contact with the hazelnut eyes of an Akabane. A person, or more like a dead person has gotten used to such incidents as this and has gotten used to hiding behind a mask as well. Rei was in utter confusion with the words of '-pawns in a bigger gamble,' till once again, someone spoke up.

"What do you mean by that?" Rei asked, she soon grew suspicious of this sudden confrontation with the enemy, finding that this was far too strange and out of the blue. Sukima looked down as she shakes her head slowly by giving out a minor chuckle at her victims utter confusion.

"I thought you where smarted than this child," she scoffed. "look at all your family members place in this world. Your younger sister Satsuki being the sweet and innocent child who has know idea creatures like me actually exist, but soon coming to face the reality. Tatsuya? It was rather enjoyable feeding off his positive emotions and watching your pathetic family crumble to bits. But for him, he undergoes stress in many ways, even right now I can see how he stares at you in your hospital bed sleeping, as his mind fills with more worries for your later outcome. You lot are all just pawns in our little game to let you wretched feel our long awaited vengeance.

For too long we have been hiding in the shadows in our mortal phase, hiding from those who shall hurt us, when we forgot who the true killer in the tale is. So we rise from the dead and come back to seek revenge, on the whole world who mocked us outcasts, burnt us to the stake, chopped our heads off, slit our mouth and silenced us for life long."

This was certainly not what Rei expected, but that didn't quite matter as much to her, as attention was drawn to the phrase of 'You lot are all just pawns in our little game to let you wretched feel our long awaited vengeance.' What does she mean by our? It was all to confusing for Rei to process all at once. Well for Rei, her thoughts would've looked like a graph- no, not a completely organised and clean graph like Shuyona Taro, but her mind was equivalent to what a toddler's scribbling, plus a few lost braincells.

Rei tilted her head to the left, to show she still did not understand, Sukima rolled her eyes in response, becoming highly annoyed of this. "Why am I even wasting my time here explaining basic knowledge to a child, when I could be listening in and watching for a better time to take you in." The younger girl raised her eyebrow in confusion, as Sukima looked up and gave her a disturbingly wide smile and waved a goodbye.

The grounds Rei stood on dropped to the depths of the shadows, leaving a wispy black and blue mist in place, bringing Rei to it's depths too. While Sukima simply seemed like she was standing on the mist, looking down on the girl. It felt like Rei was falling through a never ending rabbit hole, not being able to grab onto any furniture or passing objects falling down.

The air was flowing smack in her face, making Rei close them, but once she finally needed to take a breathe of fresh air, her eyes opened to find her lying back on her hospital bed with Tatsuya right next to her. Her reflexes made her flinch, and spring her back off the bed to be able to catch a better breath.

Tatsuya smiled, being glad his nuisance little sister was finally awake. "At least you're awake now sleepyhead." he teased. Rei felt somewhat offended by being called a sleepy head, so she just spat what was on her mind.

"Says the one that sleeps for 13 hours on a Saturday!" spat Rei. Well the phrase was accurate, but Tatsuya was surprised, not because of how much he sleeps on a Saturday, but by the fact Rei found her voice again.
