I stalked towards Tsukiko, pinning her to the wall of the cave gently. I hear her heart beat faster then it had moments ago. "Mine." I say with a low growl. Her eyes widen and her lips part slightly as though she was about to say something. I give her a look. "Tell me what happened to you Tsukiko. " I ordered. She shakes her head. There was a small level of fear in her eyes. I felt terrible for scaring her but I needed to know. I had to know what happened to my mate that had hurt her so much. Why was that so hard for her to understand? That's when I realized what had happened. She had been through so much she didn't trust anyone. Not even me. She didn't know we were mates. I backed off.
