When Tsume came back I was so happy. He seemed more on edge then usual. The female with him was really pretty. My heart did this skipping thing in my chest when I saw her. After a few hours of teasing Tsume, and Tsukiko keeping him from hurting anyone, everyone fell asleep. Kiba and Hige went to sleep first. I curled up near them and start to doze off when I hear Tsume and Tsukiko talking. I couldn't hear what they were saying but I knew that he was saying more then he normally did. He seemed so happy around her. I wondered why that is. Tsukiko was shivering. I couldn't blame her. It was freezing in the cave. I closed my eyes and fall asleep.
~Tsukiko~
I look out at the area surrounding the cave. It wasn't much. The place was barren. I sighed. "Can't sleep? " Tsume asked standing behind me. I nod. "I don't usually get a lot of sleep." He leans against the wall. "Why not? " he asked. I look down. "A lot of things happened since we last saw each other Tsume. None of them good." He seems a little worried now. "What happened? " I shrugged not really wanting to say. "Tsukiko what's wrong? " he asked. His tone was firm but gentle and laced with concern. "It's nothing Tsume. " I said quietly. "Don't lie to me Tsukiko. What happened? " he asked. I look at him. "Why do you care? You aren't my pack mate or my mate so it shouldn't matter. " I growled. He tensed and met my eyes stalking towards me like a wolf on a hunt. He was a wolf on a hunt I realize. "Tsume..." I back away a few steps. He continued his advance and I backed against the wall. "Mine." He growled.
