Tea time

"REMUS GIVE ME BACK MY BRUSH" Sirius says chasing Remus around the common room "GOTTA CATCH ME FIRST LOVE" Remus says making Sirius already red face even reader "when will they actually start dating?" Peter whispers to me before going back to reading his book

"guess we'll never know wormy" I say back before looking down at my phone to hear the sound of a notification 'regulus black sent you a message' and immediately unlock my phone texting him about my username before sending him a friend request and take the time to stal- look through his profile..

He has pictures of him and his books, art studios, coffee cups...That's cute.
I scroll down to one picture in particular of him and lily hugging..he knew her.

"Jamess" i hear Sirius say from behind me causing me to put my phone down and look at him and he looks at me with a smile before looking at Peter who grabs my phone from the table and runs "AGH PETER NO" I say aware that it was a trick "WHO HAVE YOU BEEN TEXTING SIR" Remus says cornering me till I'm against the wall

"Moony..personal space!" I yell before ducking under his arms and gunning straight to worm tail who luckily forgot my password "WORMY HOWD YOU FORGET YOUR THE ONLY ONE HE TOLD-" pad foot yells "AHHH" I yell tackling wormy and grabbing my phone standing up smiling at them before running out the room fixing my glasses "wait where are you going?!" Sirius yells "OUT FOR TEA"

(Regulus- so I'm tea for you?
James- yes you are)

I see regulas in the hall and can't help but smile walking towards him he's different looks more relaxed and then he turns torwards me before he looks up at me I'll be the first go say the height difference is big he's barely at my chest  "hi" I say to him wanting to hug him for some very odd reason "hello" he says back and I hear his voice and it's soft not as raspy as earlier but it's still has an edge to it and I can't help but blush so I make my way to the entrance and try to de-heat my face before it explodes

Time skip to where we left off

I look at the cups on the counter and I'm perplexed "which is the tea and which is the coffee?" I say looking up at him "hm good question" he says before picking up one of the cups and taking a sip "tea" sipping the other "coffee" "did you just drink both of those with no flavor added to it?" I say looking at him shocked "I mean yeah I don't like cream in my tea or in my coffee I do like sugar tho" he says looking at the sugar bowl and grabbing a bunch of sugar cubes and plopping them into the coffee cup

"Strange" I say watching him before I pour cream into my tea and 4 cubes of sugar stirring it halfway and then setting my spoon down "sorry did the James potter call me, regulus black strange." He says smirking..god that smirk. "Yeah I did" "James look at your hair it's completely all over the place and your the size of a doorway! You call me strange" "I play quidditch I need the height of the doorway" "not that much" "hm? Someone jealous of me I see" "I'm not." "You are you want my rugby and quidditch arms" I say returning his already smirk and he looks down to my arms before reaching out and touching one and my heart stops beating for a second before rapidly picking up pace as his hands roam over my arms and then shoulders moving his right hand to my heart and he smiles "your hearts beating really fast, you okay?" "I'm fine" I say obviously lying and grabbing my tea failing to realize it's not actually my tea but a half drunken cup of black sugar coffee and i immediately drop it after I drunk it most of it spilling on regulus lap and then falling to the floor the glass shattering "hider will you pick that up please?" I hear regulus say before he turns back towards me "Reggie I am so sorry- I didn't mean to spill ot I thought it was my tea but it was coffee I don't like coffee I responded like an idiot tho"

I say to him and he just looks at me "wait are you okay the coffee was pretty hot I'm sorry! Your probably burning take your pants off- wait you don't have to unless your really burning-" "James James. I'm fine. I'm used to it" "u-used to what?" "I'm used to getting burned it's fine now let's go before they try and kill us for making a mess" he says hopping down from the counter and through the entrance slash exit

I can't help but feel bad at that statement I wish he would've left with Sirius. I could've taken care of both of them. I should've in so stupid.
"James?" I hear and look up at the sound of my name only to see a slightly taller black less pale but the resemblance is uncanny "Sirius hi"

"Hey..?" He says looking torwards regulas and back at me confused "what are you two doing-" he asks "getting t-" I say but am cut off as regulus says "why? Afraid I'm gonna steal your precious little James?" "What." Sirius says "I asked a question, you scared?" "N-no hes my best friend" Sirius says a little sad "I'm not someone to fight ov-" I say trying to ease them but I'm cut off again "shush James" Remus says looking at them both amused

"Je pense que ton frère est un peu jaloux. ça ne te va pas" regulus says and his voice is so relaxing in French..it's quite attractive
"Je ne suis pas putain de jaloux, c'est mon ami, pas le tien." Sirius says back
"ne me souviens pas que vous aviez une réclamation sur lui frère." Says in a snarky tone "je n'ai pas besoin qu'il soit mon meilleur ami ? !" Sirius says more agitated
"Yeah? tant mieux pour toi, il m'aidait juste parce que j'ai renversé du café sur mes genoux et mon peignoir. alors va te faire foutre" regulas says before walking away "idiot" Sirius whispers before walking the other way

"What the hell was that" a confused Peter says walking up to us "James here has gotten caught himself caught in between the black brother fued" Remus says smiling "oh shut it" I say walking after regulus but failing to find him so I walk back to the dorms picking up Harry from the nursings station madam pompfrey watched him in "thanks for watching him my mom was busy tonight" I say before walking through the gryfindor common room and immediately getting asked questions about Harry "and I'm gonna get him ready for dinner." I say walking away from the craziness on the couch who were oohing and ah-ing at Harry.

I slip him into a new jumper and put lotion on him brushing his hair out and putting on his glasses "the generational curse of horrible eyesight slipped its way into our lives I guess" I say to him before picking him up and kissing his head walking down to the grand dining hall taking my seat with Harry and the marauders "well look at that gentleman,James you look good too" "wowww yk if you guys keep up with interest in my baby I'll get my own dorm room" I say smugly they would hate if me and Harry had to leave because we're a distraction

Withought realizing it I notice dumbledore is walking and taking his seat and giving his anual speech and dismissed us to eat I get a text that says 'look up'  and I do to see regulus starring at me before whispering an 'im sorry' from across the tables
