There the four friends were, at the back of the bus. Ready for their little field trip of today.
Jisung watched everyone sit down and noticed that Y/n wasn't too far away from him. He didn't like the fact that she was sitting next to Taehyun. Until he would get a girlfriend, he was not gonna be accepting the fact that they were close.
"Where are we going again?" Hyunjin asked as he followed Jisung's gaze. He smirked as he saw the person his gaze fell upon. "A cultural temple." Seungmin replied. "You know. If you want to, I could switch seats with her." Hyunjin teased his friend.
They had to be on the bus for an hour and a half. For a group of kids that could easily get boring but their homeroom teacher had thought about that.
He had turned the radio on and quite a lot of classmates were singing along to the music. Y/n was enjoying her bus ride, enjoying actively singing along. Everyone on the bus knew. Everyone except him and his friends. She wanted to tell them last. To tell him last. She was gonna tell them it later. For now, she was just gonna enjoy the moment.
Jisung couldn't contain his smile as he watched her sing along, smiling so brightly. She felt a pair of eyes on her so she turned her head, glancing at Jisung and catching his gaze. He quickly turned his head to the window.
They walked over the grounds of the cultural temple, taking pictures now and then as it was part of their assignment. They weren't here just for fun.
Jisung and his three friends were walking around when Hyuk and Y/n walked over to them. "Jisung. If I get a picture of you with a flower in your hair. I'll get an extra point. You'll help me out right?" Hyuk asked as he wrapped an arm around his classmate. "Last time you said I told me I was a flower and now I need one in my hair? Make up your mind." Jisung replied as he followed Hyuk.
"So what's this supposed to mean?" Seungmin asked as he caught on to what was happening. "I need to tell you something.... And you can't tell Jisung about it. I'll tell him before we go back." Y/n said. "Wait this was planned?" Felix asked. He was too innocent to notice.
Jisung returned. He looked at his friends, their faces were a mix of emotions. He didn't know how to describe it or what to make of it. "Look, how handsome I am" he said as he pointed to his face, clearly trying to show off the pretty flower in his hair. They smiled at him.
As the boys played some foot volleyball not too far from the temple, girls were walking around in the garden. Gossiping about who knows what. Y/n and Jisoo walked out of the garden and towards the boys. They had to pass them to get to the garden part with the big tree which had a lot of shade.
Unfortunately for Y/n, the timing wasn't great. One of the boys bumped into her, making her lose her balance and fall over in the little shallow pond to the right of her.
As soon as she hit the water, Jisung was already there, ready to help her out of the pond. He noticed that the water had splashed onto her shirt. He let go of her hand and took off his jacket, throwing it onto her. "You should cover yourself." he said, only loud enough for her to hear.
A few minutes later and the two of them were inside the temple, in a room. Just the two of us. He was back was turned to her as she was about to change. He had lent her the extra clothes he brought in case he got dirty. "No peeking." she said as she was about to take her wet shirt off. "My eyes are closed." he said and it was true. He respected her so much, he didn't dare to even open his eyes and that while he was facing the door.
"It might not be the best situation. But I guess this works." she said and paused. Jisung was confused but he kept quiet. "I'm moving." she then said. His mind went blank. "In three days I'll be in America." "You're moving that far away?" Jisung asked, his heart aching a bit. "It's not like I want to. My dad got a job there. So today is my last school day...."
The room was filled with silence, only the movement of Y/n's body was heard. She tapped his shoulder, making clear that she's done.
"How about graduation and college?" Jisung asked and turned around. Even though she looked cute in his clothes as he was taller than her, he couldn't focus on that. "I'll be graduating from a Korean High school there and I'll probably go to college there as well. I don't think I'll have enough money to pay for a place to stay here." she said. "Do they know?" Jisung asked. She nodded.
Jisung was about to say something when they got interrupted by someone knocking on the door. "Is she done?" the homeroom teacher's voice was heard. "Yeah." Y/n replied and the door opened. "Let's go back to the bus. We need to go to another place before we go back." he said. Y/n grabbed her bag, with now her wet clothes in it.
Jisung remained there for a few seconds before following the two of them from a distance. This was all so sudden.
