Jisung was looking at the back of Y/n. She was making dinner. "So you went to check this apartment out because Jisoo knew of it. When did you agree to that?" she asked. "I think it was like a week ago." he replied and stood up from his seat, wanting to help her. As soon as he got closer to her, his heart started beating fast. He was reminded of the high school days. He hadn't felt like this since then.
"I signed my contract two weeks ago. Funny, isn't it. Jisoo planned all of this. I bet she had an accomplice as well." Y/n said as she let him cut the green onions into pieces. "Why would she want us to live together?" Jisung asked, getting some ideas as well. "It's Jisoo. Anything could be a reason." Y/n replied.
Dinner was ready and they sat at the table. Jisung liked the view of it. It felt as if they were newlyweds, who shared their first homemade dinner together.
"So how was America?" Jisung asked as they ate their food. "America was alright. I just didn't like the timing of going there." she said. "Yeah the timing wasn't great. Were you able to make friends in the class you transferred into?" he asked, genuinely curious about how she lived in America. "I guess so. I don't know. We didn't keep contact after being accepted in different colleges." she said. "Wait, what about college now? Did you drop out? Or are you on a break now?" he asked.
"I'm continuing my study here in Korea at your school. So you'll see me outside of the house too." she said and smiled at him.
The rest of the evening they spend their time catching up with one another. Questioning if living together was okay or if it would make this weird but both if them confirmed to be okay with living with each other.
Somehow they started up a movie quite late. But as Y/n wasn't used to the time here, she wasn't tired whatsoever. However, Jisung had fallen asleep next to her, on the couch. Y/n didn't notice it until the end of the movie.
She wasn't sure what to do but her first instinct was to make sure he was warm enough so she placed the blanket that was next to her, onto him. Making sure he was completely covered. She then decided that it was best to let him be and go to her room and try to sleep as well. When she stood up, Jisung had grabbed her hand. She froze on the spot. Jisung mumbled something.
"What?" she asked and leaned closer to him, to hear what he was mumbling. "Don't leave. Stay with me." he mumbled and then suddenly let go of her hand. She stood there for a few seconds, unsure if he was having an unpleasant dream.
She then decided to just let him be in case he'd wake up and have a difficult time to fall asleep again. She would ask him about it in the morning.
She tiptoed away into her room and silently closed the door. She sat down onto her bed and texted Jisoo that they were gonna have a serious talk tomorrow.
