Rebecca

"What a day" Freen sighed while leaning her back at the bench. We're currently in the park after going into random adventures. After the rage room, we went to a carnival nearby and played lots of games. We even have stuffed toys prizes with us.

"Are you hungry?" she questioned, taking a look on her phone with more than 50 calls and almost a hundred messages. I think it's the agency but she seems not to care at all.

"Wouldn't you answer that?"

"Nah, this is my first break from them so I have to cherish this day without their presence. I'm going to settle it all tomorrow" she sighed.

It's about to get dark yet here we are, sitting in the brink of silence while watching passersby getting fewer as the moon starts peeking from the clouds.

"Pspspspspssppsp" I heard her exclaimed, extending her arms to a ginger cat walking nearby. It looks like it has an owner base from its collar. Maybe it's just taking a break too.

"Come here kitty"

The cat was about to reach her hands when I had it startled. A thought came into me - - - a very important thought that may explain how I and Patricia works.

Cats.

Schrodinger's cat paradox.

A living cat is placed into a steel chamber along with a hammer, a vial of hydrocyanic acid and a very small amount of radioactive substance. If the substance starts to decay, it'll trigger the hammer to hit the vial of poison making the cat die. It's like if a cat is to be put inside th a box with a poison that can possibly kill it , it is assumed that it's alive or dead unless observed.

It's like a 50-50 here. Patricia in my body would've give the same impact. A 50% chance of her keeping my body alive and a 50% of her ending up dead depends on the trigger around her. She's prone to danger and is a war magnet and it's making me think she'll have the ending up dead percentage bigger than being alive.

It also works the same for me however I'm not into things like she does so...

And come to think of it, our exchange is somehow triggered - - - - by sleep? No it's not - -  this just happened lately.

"Bec"

There's something that had triggered us or had not. It's like the paradox, the cat's situation can't be predicted, higher chances of being alive yet if something happens with the poison then that's the end.

Okay this is making my head hurt.

"Hey, are you okay?" Freen held my shoulders as she gave a worried look at me. I nodded my head as a response with a smile on my face to secure it.

Now that I had a glimpse of her face, she do looks like Freen, the Freen on Pat's place. The only difference are their personalities, maybe? and the way they approach people.

This Freen look devoted in all of her woks that she forgot what enjoyment feels like while the other Freen is just living her life, doing things that she usually do while not letting anyone tell her how to do it.

Two insanely similar people and both makes me feel comfortable.

"Do you want to go home?" she asked.

"If it's okay with you Miss, I'd like to stay here for a while. I just miss the feeling of watching the same moon with someone" I leaned in the bench and gaze right where the moon is. I miss the feeling of having nothing to worry.

"How many times should I tell you not to call me Miss? You're making it too formal" she whined. Her cheeks looks fluffy that I haven't had the chance to contain myself and just went into pinching it.

I removed my hand from her cheeks as the sound of beating from my chest rises. That was totally embarrassing Rebecca!

"Wow hahaha do I looked cute?"

"N-not even remotely" I stuttered. She's teasing me even more. Dang, should've not let my impulsive thought win.

"Hahahaha just kidding though" her laugh reminds me of someone close but nvm. She's really happy and I dont want to ruin it.

"Freen"

"Hmm?"

I paused for a while before proceeding into what I am about to say. This takes courage to explain and I dont know if this is all worth the risk.

"Do you believe in uhm, alternative universe?" I exclaimed. She gave a puzzled look at me and I know she's not getting any hint on the thing that I am saying. She might be thinking that I'm into my fantasy stuffs again.

"Nevermind, I just had a thought about it"

I thought she'll understand me for a second there. Too bad she might've been thinking I'm crazy for asking such stupid question.

"Can you tell me about it?" I looked at her surprised with what she'd said. Her attention is focused into me that I even forgot what I was about to say.

"Have you ever wondered how the universe is too vast? On how there are lots of things we don't know about? Like how there are billions of stars outside and each star has its planet and - - - -

"Yeah, I've also thought about that. It just pinches out some curiosity in me that there might be a possibility that the thing you're asking is somewhat true although there haven't been any cases to prove that, just from people who claims to experience how it's like to be in a different body"

That's it, I knew she had this in mind! Maybe the reason why she wasn't reacting when I dragged her away from Mr. Heng from that one time is, she prolly knows that I'm not the one in my body that everybody thinks I am.

"So do you believe it? I mean yes, there hasn't been explanations and findings to that but if anyone you know experiences it, would you believe them?" I looked straight at her eyes to let her notice how I am desperate to know her answers. I just need one person to believe in me, just one.

She closed her eyes for a bit as she sighed through her nose. As she opened it, an unexplainable feeling arose as the emotions in her face varied.

"Yeah" a half smile drew in her lips before she turned her gaze to look at the stars above.

I knew it was her.
