Third Person

"Are you alright?" Freen helped the struggling Becky in her bed. The latter was appalled from the information and memories she regained back. Her thoughts scribble in her brain as she looks at the girl in front of her. It's like she missed lots of days to be with her because of the things that had happened. She wasn't able to realize it all until she remembered the name she usually calls her. It was Becky.

" I remember you Freen. I r-remembered everything" Bec looked at Freen with a longing eyes, the same eyes she used to give her a long time ago back at that time they see each other after they had a long day. They were each other's rest.

'' That's why you were always covering the mess Patricia always leave. That's why you were so protective over me, that's why you also send those foods in my house for me to eat and that's why you almost can read my mind as if we're connected to each other.''  Becky came to realize that all those things that she thought was weird for someone like her boss, Freen, to be doing, was actually reasonable. She felt bad for thinking it was wrong when it was the right thing after all. She felt guilty because she gave Freen a hard time, dealing with her own life while dealing with hers too.

''I'm sorry, I didn't remember - -

''It's okay baby, you remember it now. That's all that matters to me'' Freen hugged her tight, too tight for the first time again since Bec were in her normal body. Her  sweet lilac scent covered Bec as she almost smells like her.  She felt like a huge thing was taken of her chest. She feels lighter than ever, she feels great that the love of her life finally had it all coming back to her.

Freen was monitoring Bec from a far, checking on her most of the time even if the latter doesn't seem to notice it. It was a choice for Freen to tell her everything about them, their relationship and what she role she plays in Bec's life however she doesn't want to make the lady confuse as well as suffer from her own thoughts. She waited until the perfect timing exist and it is now.

''B-but Patricia and the Freen in there? I mean I brought my phone once in their world. I took a lot of pictures but when I woke up, there's nothing left - - -

''Baby listen, you might not believe me but this is what it is''  Freen looked at her in the eye, as she put her hands on her shoulders.

''The Freen and the alternate universe you just mentioned...

It is all inside of your head''  she exclaimed seriously making Bec's jaw dropped from what she just heard. She swore it was real, the details and everything just seemed so real for her but...

Freen is right. It was all inside Becky's head.

''That locket, the moment you asked me about it and the time you mentioned it, I know it has something to do with what your behavior. It just came to my mind that the thing, that locket, was the trigger for your split persona and that was Patricia.''

Bec was left speechless after Freen told her the truth. ''Back when you were getting abused, the police found scratches from the babysitter's body in a way she couldn't possibly done by herself and to herself. Your mind built an alter base on your trauma, one who it thinks will be capable enough to save you from the lady and it was Patricia. You underwent therapy right after so I was confident that she wouldn't be back. I kept everything in silence Bec, I handled everything and I tried to take you back to the way you were but I think the trigger was too powerful this time.'' Freen looked at her, dismay with the thought that she didn't gave enough effort for her lover to be okay.

Another information spilled for Bec that it was too hard to believe. She was skeptical of those details yet she's also shocked because all of it seems to be true. All of those memories related to it came to her like a compiled details of a book. She can't explain it but a feeling of hiraeth traveled through her body as she recalled the times in her childhood she wish she would've done better. She remembered how she went into therapy and refused to eat something while revenge were the only thing playing inside her head when Patricia was taking over.

It was then Becca finally noticed that Rebecca is her another persona.

''R-rebecca... I'm not - -

''Yeah, it's hard to believe it but Rebecca is also one of your alters. The real you is Becca. The first time we noticed an alter was switching with you is the time we were in college, you were already my girlfriend at that time, exactly four years ago from now. You were acting different when you came home, you suddenly became addicted to books more into sci-fis, you also became more of a workaholic person - - - way different from the goofball Becca everyone used to know. When your parents noticed, they decided to let you be homeschooled. After that when I started entering the industry, I asked your parents if I can hire you as my P.A. so I can also take care and monitor you from time to time since they were also becoming busy.''

''but e-everything felt so real Freen''  Becca still tried to push her thoughts because for her, the reality and the truth is just hard to bear. That explained the two portraits in her head, it's like it was foreshadowed by her own brain.

''The thing you mentioned that the other Freen was doing like giving morning kisses and all? - - I did that Bec. I did that when we were still living in the same roof''  Freen smiled bitterly as she remembered all the sacrifices and the things she gave up just for Bec to not have a confusing life. She did her best but she's still disappointed with herself just by seeing Becca, covered in bruises and all.

''B-but how? I can't - -

''Your reality is here. You are Becca , Rebecca and Patricia as well"  Freen gave her another hug, one that was enough for Bec to broke down into tears. She can't believe everything that have occurred. She can't believe that she was blaming Patricia for everything miserable that had happened to her when in fact, it was Pat who saved her from the brink of death.Plus the fact that she became a burden for Freen and her family because of the chaos she's been these past few days is making her feel bad at all. But it was clearly not her fault. It wasn't her mistake. Not at all.
