I went upstairs and changed out of my dress and got in bed, instantly falling asleep, and in what felt like minutes I was awoken by Eleanor, "Dear Aurora!" I heard Eleanor scream. "What?" I yelled. "Breakfast is ready, and don't speak to me that way." She shouted. "Whatever." I muttered, walking downstairs. "You look a mess Aurora, did Rosetta not teach you to tidy up before breakfast?" Eleanor sneered. "No?" I asked, genuinely confused why it mattered. "Finishing school is starting tomorrow so you better be ready at 5am and your father will walk you to the train." Eleanor calmly spoke. "Ok." I said, knowing I wasn't going to be here tomorrow morning, I'm planning my escape tonight, I think I gathered all the information I need but I will stay until tonight just in case I hear anything else. "Well get what you'd like but not too much because finishing school is tomorrow and I don't want you to get used to eating like this." Eleanor said as she washed the dishes. I grabbed loads of food, specifically to make her angry, piling pancakes, bacon, sausage, toast, waffles, eggs, fruit on my plate she noticed and gasped dramatically "Aurora Enola Stone! A lady may not eat like that ever! That amount of food for a women isn't allowed! Put it all back and just eat the fruit!" She yelled. "no thanks." I smiled, shoving food in my mouth to make her even more uncomfortable.
"I'm so done with you Aurora!" Eleanor screamed, storming out of the house and walking to the garden. "You won't have to deal with me for much longer Eleanor." I spoke to myself, continuing to eat. "Aurora?" My father whispered. "Yeah?" I replied turning my head. "I know your leaving tonight, I saw your bags packed on your bed." He hesitantly said. "Don't be mad please." I answered. "No I'm not I'm actually encouraging you to leave! Get away from Eleanor while you can." He smiled, wiping tears out of his eyes. "If she's that bad you can come with me! I have enough money! We can leave together!" I exclaimed. "I can't leave my sweet Aurora, I'm sorry, I have things to take care of." Alex softly responded. "I'm so sorry your stuck here with her." I said. "It's okay, I'm just glad my daughter has grown up into an independent young women." He smiled, kissing my cheek and leaving for work. "Farewell Aurora!" He grinned, saying his final goodbyes to me and getting closure.
