We got in the bed, scarlet in the middle and Ian and me on each side of her. "We have an early morning tomorrow so it's best we get to bed." I stated, rolling over to go to sleep. Nobody tried protesting against me and quickly fell asleep. I didn't though, I stayed up the entire night overthinking everything and anxious. Quicker than I knew it I saw the sun shine through the blinds. I silently hopped out of bed and rushed to my bag, scrambling through it trying to find a certain dress, I sighed in frustration due to the lack of sleep, I must've thought I was being quiet but Ian came up from behind me and whispered "Hey are you okay?" I jumped and whipped my head around, startled by sudden voice. "I'm fine." I scoffed, swiftly strutting toward the bathroom. I went to open the door when I felt his hand on my shoulder, spinning me around. "What do you want, just go back to sleep, it's too early." I replied, visibly annoyed. "If it's too early why are you up Ror?" He questioned. "None of your business, k?" I said, rolling my eyes. And walking into the bathroom, slamming the door. I stared at myself in the mirror, I was on some sort of rampage, I was angry, scared and exhausted. I saw some scissors on the counter and began raising them toward me hair, hesitantly I snipped a chunk off, I kept on snipping, faster and faster until I had hair a little below shoulder length. I took a ribbon from my dress and tied my hair in a slick and tight ponytail that hung down and then I pulled two small strands of hair in front of my face for a girlier touch.
I smiled in the mirror and stepped out of the bathroom, noticing Ian was still awake I blatantly ignored him and rustled through my bag and grabbed a slim, black dress with spaghetti straps and a black and white plaid blouse, I ran back into the bathroom to put it on and finally slipped a pair of simple black stiletto heels, I left the bathroom and went to grab a bracelet out of my bag when I found a envelope, that had bold red printing on it that read "R.S" I didn't want to tell anyone I got a letter from Rosetta so I subtly slipped it in my dress. "Nice hair." Ian commented. "Thanks." I blandly responded. "Keep an eye on scarlet for me" I added, opening the door to exit. "Wait where are you going?" He asked. "I've decided to find Rosetta on my own, it will be to dangerous and I'm not prepared to expose you to it, I know I said I would but I just can't bring this harm into your lives, it's best if you stay here, I'll be back sooner than you know it." I explained, rushing out the door. "Wait you told us we could go, we can't let you go on your own, you could get hurt or something." Ian chased after me. "I don't care, you don't know what your dealing with, I know my aunt and I know what she's capable of but I also know she's in severe danger, if she's in danger then I am, that's why I need to go alone." "But-" he started. "No Ian." I declared, shoving him back into the room and closing the door behind me. I took the envelope out of my dress and ripped it open, I unfolded the note and began to read the fine writing.
