It got quite late so I went down to the kitchen and decided to cook some dinner while scarlet was busy with Ian. I saw some of the baked goods that were supposed to be for my party, I frowned and threw out the moldy treats. I then went to my pantry and got out the ingredients for some pasta, bread and salad. About 40 minutes later I finished dinner, "Scarlet, Ian I made dinner!" I shouted up the stairs. The siblings quickly rushed downstairs and sat at the table. "You did this all for us?" Ian said, starstruck. "Yeah it's the least I can do so cut the sappiness and eat." I said, not trying to get too attached because these people should be gone tomorrow, right? We soon finished eating and I cleaned everything up, it was now around 10pm so we decided to head to bed, I changed into my pajamas and gave Scarlet some of my old pajamas from when I was a child. "Goodnight Ian." I smiled, walking into my room. "Nighty night." Scarlet said as she hugged Ian. "Night Scar." He responded, kissing her head. Scarlet rushed into my room and jumped into my bed. I waited until she fell asleep and then I crawled out of bed, getting my paper and a pencil and I sat out on my balcony, planning my conclusion to this adventure.
I sat on the balcony and thought for what felt like hours. I ended up not having anything really to plan, I just needed to find the gold and I'd take it from there. so I came back inside and began frantically looking for the gold, I looked though the entire house I couldn't find it anywhere, I decided to go outside to clear my mind, I walked on the broken cobblestone that led to my backyard, I wandered through the garden and made my way to the river, I had a beautiful river in my backyard, surrounded by flowers and I had a wooden swing Rosetta put up when I was a child. I sat on the swing and tried thinking where it could be, I looked all over the house, I looked everywhere in Rosetta's room, trying to be as quiet as possible of course. I watched as the river flowed, reflecting the night stars over the rushing water. I thought how disappointed Rosetta would be if she knew I was trusting strangers. It all happened so fast, I knew it was wrong of me and I had to keep up my evil reputation that Rosetta wanted me to have, I assume she thought it would help me through the journey more, which it did but they needed a home and I was getting quite lonely anyways.
I sat outside for about an hour trying to think over everything, it was all so confusing, it felt as if just a few weeks ago I was a normal 15 year old girl just trying to enjoy her summer. School is supposed to start soon but I don't know if my quest will be done by then. But all of a sudden Rosetta ran away and now I've been on this crazy adventure, traveling the world, meeting my psycho mother and my father which I'm pretty sure she was holding him hostage or something. I met Ian and scarlet and now they live with me, I still have to find the gold and travel all the way to my fathers house, I'm pretty sure Eleanor should be in jail because I framed her and then come all the way back here and I should have a way of finding Rosetta. All I know is I'm sick of these games, I just want to go back to my old life, which I know will never happen because I'm a changed women ever since I met my parents.
