I folded the note and put it in my dress, rushing out of the warehouse, and you already know, I obviously used the last bit of my money to buy a train ticket all the way back home to wind flower. I got my ticket and found a seat on the train, this entire time I have been lucky enough to have a seat alone until today. 2 people sat next to me, a boy that looked around my age and a young girl, probably around 5 years old or so. "Hello who are you?" The brunette boy asked. I didn't answer, Rosetta told me not to trust anyone and to stay alone so I'm trying to. "Your so pretty I love your dress!" The little girl spoke, I couldn't help but smile at her lisp due to the fact she had lost her 2 front teeth, I gave in and replied "thank you, I love your headband it's so beautiful." She giggled at my reply, muttering a "thank you" "so you talk to my little sister but not me?" He scoffed jokingly. "I don't just trust random men." I coldly said. "Oh come on! I'll start with me, hi I'm Ian and this is my little sister Scarlet." He smirked. "Ugh fine." I gave into them, they seem trusting, I know Rosetta would be so mad but I couldn't help it. "I'm Aurora and I'm 16." I stated. "I'm 17 and scar is 5 years old." He explained.
"So where are you heading?" Ian asked. "Why do you want to know so much about me you creep." I said as I rolled my eyes. "Woah chill I just was curious." Ian defended himself. "Sorry Ian can be a little much sometimes, he didn't mean to disrespect you in any way and we are heading to wind flower just so you know." Scarlet giggled. "Well I'm going to wind flower too, just so you know." I whispered to her and winked.
"I heard that so stop being so nice to my sister." He said. "She's adorable I can't help it." I responded, looking out the window. "Stop being mean to the pretty princess Ian." She smiled, nudging him. "I'm not a princess scar but you sure look like one." I kindly spoke, I'm can't help but be as kind as possible to kids. "Thank you Aurora." She said. "Hey only I call her scar." Ian chuckled. "Yeah yeah." I said. "Why are you so harsh to stranger anyways?" He asked. "Because." I declared, not wanting to expose my life. "Because why?" He questioned. "Let's just say I have it rough at the moment and I'm not supposed to be trusting people especially people like you." I harshly expressed, laying my head on the window. "We aren't going to do anything to you, I don't know what you've gone through but you seem like a wonderful woman." He said calmly.
"How are you still talking to me, I'm a random cold hearted teenager, what do you want from me?" I scoffed. "A friend, and you seem very kind, I see the way you smile at my sister, I can tell you love kids, your just having trouble opening up because your on some mission or something." He exclaimed. "How did you know all of that." I uttered. "I have my ways." He smirked. "Whatever." I said. "Well if it makes you feel any better, we are orphans, we ran away from the orphanage, I wanted what was best for my little sister and it wasn't good for her there so we ditched." He said causally. "Rough." I said with a hint of sympathy in my voice, looking over to the now, sleeping little girl. "I would do anything for her, I just want her childhood to be better than mine but it's hard when your raising a child at such a young age." He mumbled, glancing over to scarlet. "I'm sure she's very grateful for you." I slowly spoke, not realizing how exhausted I still was. "You look tired, it would be best for both of us if we headed to bed." He suggested. I nodded and looked over to the window, which now showed a dark forest with a night sky shining up above. I lied my head on the window and soon dozed off into a deep sleep.
