I sat outside for about an hour trying to think over everything, it was all so confusing, it felt as if just a few weeks ago I was a normal 15 year old girl just trying to enjoy her summer. School is supposed to start soon but I don't know if my quest will be done by then. But all of a sudden Rosetta ran away and now I've been on this crazy adventure, traveling the world, meeting my psycho mother and my father which I'm pretty sure she was holding him hostage or something. I met Ian and scarlet and now they live with me, I still have to find the gold and travel all the way to my fathers house, I'm pretty sure Eleanor should be in jail because I framed her and then come all the way back here and I should have a way of finding Rosetta. All I know is I'm sick of these games, I just want to go back to my old life, which I know will never happen because I'm a changed women.
I got off the swing and walked back inside, trying to be as quiet as possible. "Hello sweetheart." I heard a familiar cold voice. I quickly turned my head and saw my mother sitting at the table with an evil smirk plastered across her face. "You thought you could get rid of me didn't you?" Eleanor laughed psychotically. "What are you doing here, how do you know where I live?" I shouted. "I have my ways darling, now why did you think it was right to frame your poor mother, I just wanted what was best for you." She said while twisting her bleach blonde hair around her fingers. "Oh you did huh?" I laughed. "Yes I did, well until I met the grown version of you, as a baby I wasn't fond of you but I didn't wish anything too horrible upon you, but I met the 16 year old you and God do I not regret my decision of giving you up, your an entitled brat and you have no manners, do you think it's cool to have a bad reputation or something?" She said while unwrapping a piece of chewing gum, and putting it in her mouth. "I really don't care." I blandly stated. "Ugh I was right your so spoiled." Eleanor yelled loudly. "Oh and your much better?" I screamed back, forgetting Ian and scarlet were upstairs.
"Hey is everything okay? Who is this?" Ian asked peeking his head around he staircase with scarlet next to him. "Oh how wonderful you have friends." Eleanor psychotically laughed once again, while blowing a bubble with her chewing gum. "Don't even Eleanor." I coldly scoffed. "You mean mother, you can't deny it forever." She smirked, emphasizing "mother." "She's your mother." Scarlet spoke with a disgusted look on her face. "Indeed I am, and who are you little girl?" She said, getting closer to scarlet. "Her name is scarlet." Ian replied, hiding scarlet behind him. "Who are these people Aurora, you know Rosetta wanted you to stay alone." She spoke, I could tell she was trying to manipulate me, like always. "Oh don't you use Rosetta against me, you know nothing Eleanor!" I shouted. "Oh yes I do!" Eleanor exclaimed "Ian scarlet, please get out of here while you can, the sun is rising so you guys can probably get a train ticket by now so please be safe and write to me." I quickly let out, signaling to the door. "We aren't leaving you, your clearly in danger." Ian whispered. "Just get out, just for now, I don't want you two to get get involved and hurt, she's an evil woman, I need to deal with this on my own, it's my own personal battle." I explained.
"Thank you Aurora." Scarlet said as she hugged me and kissed my cheek. "Yeah thank you Aurora." Ian repeated as he hugged me. They rushed out the door, Ian looked back and smiled and grabbed scarlets hand, walking down the street. "Well that was sweet of your friends to visit." Eleanor said. "Why are you even here what do you need?" I asked. "You to be dead, but I can't get everything I want can I?" She smiled. "Be for real or I'm leaving." I declared. "I want the gold, or I kill your father and Rosetta." She stated. "Woah Woah all this over some gold, your going to have it at your house anyways in the safe." I replied. "Well now that you know I escaped prison, you weren't gonna hide it at my house anyways." She explained. All I did what groan. "Where is the gold." She questioned. "I haven't found it yet." I told her. "Lies!" She screamed. "No believe me I truly haven't found it I've only been home for less than 24 hours." I defended myself. "Fine." She muttered right as she started running around the cottage looking for the gold. "Where is it!" She yelled in frustration. "Your never gonna find it, trust me Eleanor." I sighed
