I woke up alone in C's bed. I was tired so I rolled onto my other side instead of getting up. "Good morning, shawty boo boo bear." C's voice scared the living Jesus out of me. "God, C. Why are you up so early?" I asked him. My voice still wasn't fully there since I had just woken up. "It's not early, Bat. It's like 8 already," C said.

"On a Saturday," I said. He was fully up and just READY for the day. At 8am. On a Saturday. "I'm gonna change your name in my phone to psychopath," I said to him. He laughed at me. "What is is now?" Ummmm. Nope.

Then I remembered something. Quickly I sat up in his bed. I got my stuff and was trying to leave. "Hey, where are you going, baby?" C asked me. "I forgot to tell my dad I was staying here. He probably has the whole town looking for me." I messed up. He's too protective. I can't just call him because that'll turn into a lecture.

"I can call him if you'd like," C started. I didn't have the time to explain all of it so I just had to shut him up. The quickest way to do this was to kiss him, though. Swiftly I walked over to C and kissed him. Him, being the simp he is, shut up and just smiled. I said bye and everything and left, practically running out of the house.

Big surprise, I was grounded. My dad took away my phone for the rest of the weekend. That wasn't too bad. Monday morning came along and I got ready for school. I was almost late for my bus, but made it just in time.

"Hey, Bat," C said. "Hey, sorry I didn't call or anything. My dad took away my phone." He told me it was alright. The bell rang and we were off to first period. I hate Mondays. My first class is gym. I went to the locker room and got changed.

We had to run around the field. I went and joined some of my female friends. A group of guys formed behind us. They were the annoying kids. Not much my friends and I could do about it though.

After the guys being there for 3 minutes, we started to get irritated. "They're definitely looking at our apples," My friend whispered to me. That made me feel pissed. I turned around and started to say, "Hey, if you guys are gonna be d*cks, why don't you do it to our faces." I should've just stayed walking.

"Oh, yeah? Well, Bat isn't it, there is something I'd like to do that has to do with d*cks and your faces." This Mother Fucker. I acted without thinking and punched him in the gut. Grabbing my friend's arm, I continued walking. We got far enough away before he got up again.

I thought about that a lot today. I shouldn't have punched him. That was an over reaction. I might get in trouble.

A few more classes went by and then it was time for science. I get to see C. I'll ask him if what I did was wrong. "Heeyyyy Battt," C said. "Hi, C." I replied.

"Are you ok?"
"What do you mean?"
"I heard from a friend that you yelled at that dude in gym."

Of course he heard about it. But what he heard was wrong. "Well, I didn't yell. I punched him. Was that wrong?" I said to C. Suddenly he got all serious. "Why did you punch him?" C asked. Usually he's all happy-go-lucky. This was weird. "He said something weird." I said.

"Did he make you uncomfortable?" C asked me. It's weird hearing him talk in a serious voice. It felt like I had to answer. I nodded and then said we should focus on the class.

The end of school couldn't come soon enough. I just wanted to go to sleep. C said he had plans for later so we couldn't hang out. I just went home.

The next day I got to school at the same time as C. He smiled and waved at me. "Hey, Bat!" He said. He wasn't being all serious anymore. That's a relief. "Hey," I said.

"You don't have to worry about that guy anymore."
"What do you mean?"
"Don't worry. So how was your day?"

I didn't think much of what C said. We just went to class and got the school day over with. Now that I think of it, I didn't see that guy in school today. I'll have to ask C about it on our walk to his house.
