The door slammed open and C looked in the room. His eyes grew angry when he saw Mr. Dapper whispering to me. "The hell are you two doing?" He said.

"Umm, Sir, I was just explaining to Bat here that you haven't been yourself recently because of.. Well, you know, Sir." Mr. Dapper tried to explain himself. "What did you tell them?" C said and squinted his eyes.

"Well-- I, not a lot, Sir. Just.." Mr. Dapper was cut off by C walking over to him and whispering in his ear. It was sort of funny seeing a 5'11 guy whisper to a 5'2 guy. I couldn't hear them, but C didn't look all too pleased.

Without another word, Mr. Dapper left the room. When C's back was turned to him, he mouthed to me "I'm sorry, Bat".

My throat was still soar from the woods, but it wasn't as bad. I could talk, so I turned towards C.

"C.. What the fuck.." My voice wasn't fully there and it hurt to speak. He didn't respond. All C did was sit on the couch next to me and stare forwards. Not at me, not out the window, just forwards. I noticed that his hands were shaking a lot.

"C?" I tried to get his attention again, but he just kept staring forwards. I gave up hope and just decided to not talk for awhile.

After a few minutes of silence, C sighed and turned to face me. "Bat. I don't even know where to begin," C said.

"How about the killing our classmate??"

"That bitch had it coming."

Ngl, C's response didn't exactly make me feel safe. I couldn't quite tell if he had calmed down yet. There were so many other questions going through my head. "How did you find where I was?" I whispered.

C looked at me and then nodded towards my phone. "They each have a gps in them. If you have enough money, you can find anybody."

So this was great. C was literally watching my every move. He killed someone. C killed someone. "You actually killed him.." I barely whispered. C turned to look at me, this time his whole body.

"Hey, don't be upset. I never actually killed him, I didn't pull the trigger. That doesn't mean I didn't torture him and get a video of him apologizing to you," C said. He was trying to make it seem like he did nothing wrong. I can't handle this.

"What if the police question me? Huh?" I asked him, my voice slowly returning. "Bat, I get that you might not understand the world," C said, " but a couple thousand dollars go a long way. Especially with the police. If they question you, be as honest as you want. Nothing will happen, so just don't worry about it."

He said it. Don't worry about it.
