C came walking through the door within 7 minutes after ending the call. "Where were you?" I asked him. I was really upset. He should have just told me he had plans and we couldn't hang out today.

"I was just taking care of some things. Don't worry about it, Bat," C said. I didn't like this answer. He keeps telling me to not worry about things. Then I remembered the voices. "Who were you with?" I asked.

"I was alone."
"How come I heard people talking on the phone?"

C didn't respond. He just looked at me. "I said don't worry about it. I had something to take care of," he said after a few seconds. He was hiding something from me. I don't like when he does that.

"C. Tell me," I said, impatiently. He scoffed and walked out of the room. I cannot deal with his sillyness right now. I'm too tired. I've had a long enough week.

C returned and sat down next to me. Neither of us said anything. I was waiting for an answer and he was waiting for the topic to blow over.

"So," C said, "What do you want to do?" He has the audacity to try and change the subject. "C. Tell me who you were with." I wasn't playing around. He was being too evasive. Was he.. cheating on me? He wouldn't do that. Right?

"Just.. some old friends." C said. I looked at him unconvinced. "They work for my parents." He said.

"What do your parents even do?"
"They.. I don't know how to describe it."
"Then just say it."
"They run the largest mafia organization in Philadelphia."

What. C just looked at me. He wasn't joking. A lot made sense. Why having an unplanned child wouldn't be good for them. How he has so much money. Hell, even the bodyguards and Mr. Dapper made sense.

The silence in the room was loud. "Don't be upset." C said. "Hold on. You're a mafia baby. Why didn't you tell me? What were you doing with your father's men?" No matter how many things were cleared up, more questions were revealed.

"I.. don't want you to be upset."
"C. Tell me."
"You're gonna be upset."

The f*ck was this kid talking about. I was so confused and angry at the same time. Why would I be upset if it wasn't anything bad. "C." That's all I said.

Opening his mouth, the only words he said were, "You really wanna know?"
