Janardhana entered his sister's chamber to see her being consoled by Vijaya. He gestured his little brother to move out and sat next to Rukmini.
" Relax " He said softly.
" What relax? Why are playing with my life Annaji? Give me a bit of poison atleast insted of doing all these stuffs" Rukmini shouted.
Janardhana just smiled. Rukmini gave out a frustrated sigh and directly fell to his feet weeping.
" Don't do this Annaji. I respect you a lot. That's why I didn't tried to meet my husband all these years just because you don't like that. Now don't give me to that beast. Atleast permit me Annaji, I shall run away from this place and I never ever show my face to you. But I can't marry Kaalinga " Rukmini cried.
Janardhana sighed and made her to sit next to him.
" Stop crying, I am here to say the same " He said wiping her face.
Rukmini was puzzled now.
" I hate your in law's family for sure except Shrini. He is soo good and I never ever imagined to seperate you both. My calculations were something else but now everything flipped. Leave it that's a different issue " Janardhana said and led her towards the writing table.
" Here, write a letter to your husband pouring out all your emotions. Request him to take you from here Rukmini. Write a letter to him " He smiled handing an empty scroll to her.
Rukmini was looking at him with awe. She never imagined Janardhana would help her.
" Write down dear I will be waiting outside... Call me once you are done " He pecked her forehead and walked out.
Rukmini sat infront of the portrait of Shrinivasa which was drew by herself and smiled. Pouring out all her emotions of all these years and wrote a lengthy letter to Shrinivasa requesting him to take her away from this land.
" Annaji " She called out for her brother wiping her tears.
She handed the letter to him and embraced Janardhana.
" Don't worry Rukmini everything will be fine." He smiled and summoned Shambu Joyisa, the assistant of Royal astrologer.
" Shambhu as I have explained you already. You should go to Kapilatheertha and hand these two scrolls to Yuvaraja Harshavardhana Nayaka. You should meet him personally and ask him to read my scroll first and then hand the other one. Once your work is done your reward would reach you and now manage your expenses with this " Janardhana said and handed two scrolls and a bag of gold coins to Shambu.
He left for Kapilatheertha as soon as possible.
" As a husband and father I must worry about my wife and son but I can't let go my sister for that na? That's why this small help from my side that's all. Let's hope for best " Janardhana smiled at Rukmini.
" Harshavardhan?" Rukmini asked.
" Shrini's elder brother. Only he can act as my plan. In top of that I don't want to bow down infront of Vasudeva. Harshavardhan will make the things set and Shrinivasa would come here. If he didn't means no other way I will forget Saraswati that's all " Janardhana left the chamber without waiting for Rukmini's response.
As usually Satyabhama and Shrinivasa sat in their garden.
" I prepared something today. Srirangapatna special sweet " Satyabhama said opening the box she fetched.
" Oh your Village special. Frankly Attige cooks this sweet better than you " Shrinivasa grinned.
" I have tried something today but my husband don't want to eat that. Instead he is praising his Attige. If I would have asked this before marriage na you would have ate this and praised me. Now I am your wife na that's why this behaviour. How mean!" Satyabhama pouted angrily.
" Arey Swamy Shrinivasa! How can someone over act every single minute?! I just said Attige cooks well that doesn't mean that you are a bad cook " He sighed.
" Will you eat or not now? Literally why I am asking you to eat by yourself? Wait " Satyabhama kept the box away and stuffed the sweet to his mouth. Chewing with a great difficulty Shrinivasa smiled.
" How was it?" Satyabhama interrogated.
" Very nice Bhama. You have inherited some good qualities from Attige too " He said with amazement.
Satyabhama turned away from him angrily.
" I want you to praise me Bhava. Not my sister. Can't you understand that simple thing? I should say everything openly to my husband, what a pity!?" She huffed.
Shrinivasa hugged his wife suppressing his laughter.
" I was teasing you " He giggled.
" I hate you " Satyabhama pushed him back.
" Okay fine thank you " He rolled down on his back and adjusted his position to go to sleep.
" Swamy Shrinivasa let a peaceful sleep embrace me today and I request you to send Apsaras in my dream " Shrinivasa said and pretended to be asleep.
Satyabhama gasped in horror. She quickly placed her head on his chest and hugged him tightly.
" No no Swamy Shrinivasa, do not send any Apsaras. I am there na " She said in a hurry.
Shrinivasa smiled wrapping his arms around her.
" This much jealousy possessiveness my god! Seems like bramha filled all of the remaining jealous and possessiveness stuffs of all other creations in you. But yet I appreciate him. You look soo cute with your angry looks. That's why I love to tease you " Shrinivasa laughed making Satyabhama to frown.
" Kindly accept my apologies Chikka Rayare. But Yuvaraja wishes to see you right now " Godavari's voice startled them.
Raged Satyabhama looked up to see her dear sakhi turning away from them. Shrinivasa stood up wrapping his Uttariyam.
" Go back to your chamber bhama. I don't how much time it may take " Shrinivasa smiled and pecked her cheek before following Godavari.
" Why should he called my husband at this hour? Atleast morning they could have talked right?" Satyabhama thought squeezing the end of her garment.
