The palace of Kapilatheertha itself dressed as a bride. The peaceful form of Vasudeva lit entire palace. He personally examined every preparations. The responsibility of getting the elephant ready for the procession was given to Harshavardhan and Vijaya.
" This is the trunk right?" Prabha guessed while caressing the leg of the elephant.
" I told you not go closer. Prabha come back " Harshavardhan pulled his daughter back only to be stopped by Vijaya.
" Let her Bhavaji, let her see things through her vision. If you are fine then I will stay with her now " Vijaya said with a smile.
Prabha's face turned serious all of a sudden. Vijaya's words reached the bottom of her heart. Apart from her father and uncle for the first someone addressed her blindness as a 'special vision'. Harshavardhan liked the statement too.
" I wish, I too had the same thinking like Vijaya. We all could have lived even more happy then" Vasudeva's voice startled Harshavardhan.
Both of them stood watching Prabha with a pure smile on face as she touched the elephant.
" Harsha, are you still angry with me?" Vasudeva pressed his shoulder.
" I stopped loving you the moment you called my daughter as a burden of Nayakas. What's there to ask it now?" Harshavardhan said with a sad smile.
Vasudeva sighed.
Shrinivasa sat on his bed and smiled at Rukmini who was selecting best among his jewellery. She dispersed all the chambermaids of Shrinivasa and took the responsibility of dressing Shrinivasa as a groom.
" This is good " She pulled out a royal blue Uttariyam and turned to him.
Shrinivasa nodded with a smile. Rukmini wrapped the grand cloth around his upper body and tied a red coloured Kayabandhi around his waist. She adorned his handsome body with diamond studded Haaram. Finally she hugged him from behind after placing his turban.
" I just can't take off my eyes Svami" Rukmini smiled and pecked his cheek.
Shrinivasa caressed her cheek affectionately.
" Don't delay much now, bring Satyabhama quickly understood?" She said.
" Yes Princess " Shrinivasa bowed down dramatically and walked out.
Both Vedavati and Devaki blessed Shrinivasa and embraced him.
" Bring my sister soon Shrini" Suvarnavati embraced Shrinivasa before he walked towards the elephant.
