Hiccup was in his house it was nighttime again he looked around in his books for the tales his father told him "i know it's somewhere" hiccup said as he found it and began reading threw it "tales tell of an ancient nest of where which all beast come forth tho heed this tale for it is also a warning for those who have seeked this ancient nest have never returned...." hiccup read out as he was lost in his thoughts until he heard sinister laughing behind him he turned around, as hiccup sees the person behind the sinister chuckling "you must be the night fury rider" he spoke as hiccup took out his fire sword "who are you?" hiccup said sternly as the person takes a seat in stoick's chair hiccup glared at him as he did so "oh how rude of me they call me grimmel the night fury killer" grimmel smirked as he looked around noticing the night fury was nowhere in sight "why are you here" hiccup spat as he pointed the sword at him "the night fury hand him over and i'll spare your village and you'll never hear from me again, or try and protect you precious dragon and see what i'm truly campboal of" grimmel warned hiccup, "you sit in my fathers chair, you threaten my people and my dragon..." hiccup says as the others suddenly jump down armed and ready to attack "i will never give him up!" hiccup shouts as grimmel disappeared into the shadows "then i'll destroy everything you love" grimmel says as his death grippers blast the roof and attack as the other death grippers set berk a lit causing the berkins to get on their dragons toothless came out of hiding and hiccup jumped on as everyone follows hiccup up onto a hill as they try and think on what to do, there was no point in trying to save berk for the fire had become uncontrollable hiccup still had the book of the ancient hidden world and proposed that they try and find it "we don't even know if the tales are true!" one viking says as another says "it'll be sucicde trying to chase tales!"

"If there's a chance it's real what choice do we have berk is up in flames!" hiccup says as astrid looks up at him valka looks through the book hiccup had been reading "i'm with hiccup, only a dragon can find the nest so why not try?" Valka says "besides we can't stay here, Grimmel knows where we are and he'll try and take all of our dragons if we stay!" Astrid says as everyone agrees to leaving berk to try and find either new land or the ancient home of dragons once the flames eased the vikings gathered the remains of their supplies and at first light they were long gone.

Grimmel had suspected them to leave but what they didn't know is that grimmel had sent a special tracker after them as he tried to figure out where the berkian tribe was heading.

Toothless had a sadden expression on his face until he sniffed and his eyes lit up as he looked around hiccup noticed this and questioned what toothless could sense until he heard it everyone looked around hiccup was in disbelief as ghost had appeared from the clouds she had been following them she looked over and saw toothless she flew up as toothless followed her toothless looked around hiccup looked behind them "well look who it is!" he says as ghost dived straight for them and grabbed hiccup off of toothless's back and threw him she looked back at toothless with a smile on her face feeling proud of herself toothless looked down then back at ghost with an annoyed look on his face as he growled at her then dived down towards hiccup ghost was confused to why toothless was so protective over the human but she was starting to get the idea that this human was important to him.

Everyone laughed hiccup was annoyed and fishlegs was sketching ghost for an new entry in the book of dragons tuffnut was making jokes about the earth actually being round and that's why it was taking so long to find the hidden world until they came across a island it wasn't the hidden world but it would work for a place to rest as everyone landed and began to set up camp gobber kept getting chased by hobgobblers as everyone else was trying to draw up plans for new berk hiccup on the other hand couldn't think straight and walked off to be alone toothless followed him and gave him a concerned look hiccup sat down "don't worry bud i won't let grimmel take you" hiccup said as he gave toothless a pat when astrid came over "so what now?" she asked hiccup "honestly i don't know hopefully were far gone from that grimmel guy" hiccup said reviled
