Scene shows grimmel gathering venom from his death grippers as a guard came up behind to talk to grimmel "s-sir?" the guard started hesitantly, grimmel gave a low hum as a reply "what exactly are we doing about t-the night fury?" He asked, grimmel looked over at him with a dark look "have patiences everythings going according to plan" grimmel said as the guard walked off grimmel looked at his death grippers as he motioned for them to "get" the guard as they slowly disappeared into the darkness.

Back to hiccups camp

Hiccup had been busy all morning working on a new tail for toothless astrid came over and asked hiccup what he was doing "well since ghost is to scared to be around us why not let toothless bring her back to us and show her that we mean her no harm?" hiccup smiled as he kissed astrids cheek, fishlegs rushed over "you mean she came back here?" he started as hiccup painted the tail black with a bright red skull "yeah she came back while we were sleeping her and toothless were back at the beach apparently she learns fast and likes to copy him" hiccup smiled at fishlegs as fishlegs took notes on this tuffnut overheard this "hell yeah new dragon!" he yelled as ruffnut rolled her eyes "not if she keeps flying away" she said as hiccup finished up the new tail "which is why toothless will go get her" hiccup trailed as astrid watched hiccup test the fireproof tail "hiccup you've done this before what if he'll smash it up again?" Astrid asked as toothless blasted at the tail drying both the wet paint and testing the quality "well this time is different" hiccup said as toothless sat down impatiently waiting for the new tail flap "there we go- go on try it out!" hiccup said happily as toothless moved his tail flap the new prosthetic copying his movements toothless smiled he got up on his back legs and hugged hiccup before running off "go on get out of here!" hiccup shouted at toothless causing him to droop his nubs while looking at hiccup remembering the last time hiccup said that to him hiccup reassured toothless it was ok. Toothless smiled as he took his first flight on his own since hiccup had shot him down. Toothless gave one more look at hiccup and smiled as he flew off trying to find ghost.

After toothless left hiccup decided it would be a good idea to scout out the area making sure they weren't followed by grimmel, valka went off on the first scout with cloud jumper while the rest decided to raid grimmel head on and free the dragons he may have captured.

Time skip

After a while hiccup and the others found grimmels base they decided stealth would be the best approach since toothless wasn't at camp and wasn't with hiccup he would be safe...right..?

They snuck their way in, the dragons were hidden outside of the base hiccup had been riding with astrid on stormfly. Once they were in the clear hiccup decided to split up the twins go one way fishlegs and snotlout the other and of course astrid with hiccup it was almost to easy hiccup thought as they kept walking until they heard sinister laughter hiccup got out his flaming sword as astrid was ready with her mace "well well looks like we meet again" grimmel spoke from the shadows "show yourself!" Astrid demanded as suddenly she was taken from behind leaving hiccup alone with grimmel, hiccup panicked as he yelled "let her go you coward!" grimmel had revealed himself and hiccup aimed his blade at him "let's make a trade shall we?" grimmel smirked as he continued "your beloved nightfury for your friends" grimmel spoke harshly still keeping the cocky look on his face as the death grippers appeared behind him with everyone locked in a cage including valka, "toothless isn't here hes safe from you!" hiccup attacked grimmel resulting in a death gripper pouncing on him "i thought you may say that so i got something that may interest him" grimmel teased as hiccup gave him an confused look as grimmel whistled to the death gripper that had pinned hiccup it roared revealing something else in the darkness.

Hiccups eyes widen as he saw ghost her pupils thin and a collar around her neck with some viles containing some liquid "bring the nightfury to me" grimmel commanded ghost taking the collar off as she flew off her pupils still slits hiccup escaped from the death gripper as he threw his blade at grimmel allowing hiccup to free the others grimmel whistled and the death grippers began chasing them ruffnut falling behind hiccup had a bad feeling as grimmel hadn't moved from his spot was this a trap? Hiccup thought as they kept running the riders called for their dragons and took off leaving ruffnut behind, grimmels guards had put her into a cell while Grimmel decided on what to do with her "s-sir?" the guard spoke as grimmel gave a low hum as a response "shouldn't we chase after the raiders?" he asked as grimmel looked at him coldly "they are falling straight into my game of cat and mouse everythings going according to plan" grimmel smirked cockily as he walked off his death grippers following behind.
