Rex and I got the distress call from a clone we went to find him.

Then we noticed the scenator ryio chuchi was there and she was in danger when we noticed an assassin was there.

Rex shot the assassin as we walked up her.

"You all right, senator l?" I asked taking off my cloak.

"GAMORA wise, captain rex? What— what's going on?" She asked in shock.

"We were hoping you would tell us" Rex said to her. "We came to meet a clone contact of ours when we heard blaster fire"

"You two were slip was meeting?" She asked. "He's dead. So are my gaurds."

"What happened?"I asked.

"Slip told me about what truly happened to kamino.I wanted him to testify before the senate." She frowns.

"Someone was sent to make sure that would never happen" Rex said. He crouched down and opened a helmet to reveal something I'd never thought I'd see.

"A clone?" The senator asked in shock "why would a trooper do such a thing?"

"He's not a trooper" i said

"not sure what he is but I suggest we question him somewhere more hidden. And we know just a place" Rex said.

I summoned the sphere that's hidden somewhere it won't be found it where my daughter sleeps in I put my hand on it to check if she's all right.

"What is that? What's in there?" The senator asked.

Rex and I looked at each other before looking back at the senator "I'll explain later."

We went to a place that's safe to hide to question the trooper.

"Where are we?" Chuchi asked.

"Couple of friends of ours own this garage they're gone for a bit" i said.

The the clone wakes up and looks at Rex "nice of you to join us got a name?" Rex asked as the clone didn't answer "you're not wearing any identifiable markings. Who do you work for?" Still no answer "don't want to talk about yourself? Fine tell me who's orders you were following and I'll go"

"No you won't captain rex" the clone speaks "You're fighting the wrong battle brother you're limited"

"So what does that make you?"

He looked up at him "a believer" then all the sudden he did something that killed him. Rex check his puls before looking at us signalling he's dead.

"The empires crazier than I thought" I said.

"Why would he do that?" Chuchi asked.

"I don't know" I said then I heard crying in the Speer as I summoned it and opened it to reveal Jaylah I picked her up as she calms down. I liked to Rex who was just standing there. I signed and reached my hand out "Rex we don't have to hide anymore."

He reached for my hand and grabbed it as we walks close and looks at our daughter.

"Da...da" she cooed

"You're parents of this child aren't you?" Chuchi asked. We both nod as she looks at our daughter "what's her name?"

"Jaylah" Rex answered.

Chuchi smiles at her and gently grabs Jaylahs hand "it's nice to meet you little one" she shakes her hand before looking at us. "She's beautiful"

I smiled at her before looking at Rex "we need some help figuring out what happened to kamino and who was involved" Rex nods in agreement.

Luckily we know who we're gonna call.
