Chapter 14

After our crazy battle now anakin suggests that I explain to the troopers the next plan for our next battle to stop the senatist.

I put up the holomap and explained "this bridge is our first waypoint. Focus your fire on the gun emplacements here. And her, because it's only—-"

I was inturopted by anakin "Because it's only after we neutralize the guns that we can push for the factory"

I glared at him "I was—- yes. We can push the factory. Now, expect stiff resistance from"

"And don't forget to top off you energy cells and ration packs." He interrupted me again "once we leave, there will be no re-supply. Anything else gamora?" He turns to me to see if I have something else to add.

"No. I think you've pretty much covered everything... in my briefing"

"Very well. Squad dismissed" all the squad gets up and leaves anakin and I alone. I'm mad at him for ruining my briefing it's supposed to be my time, that jerk. "So what's next"

"You know, my briefing might go better if you didn't inturopt me every time I try to—-"

"I wasn't interrupting I was trying to help you." He denies.

"Which I would appreciate if you didn't inturopt me to do it. I just don't think you don't trust me to give the briefing."

"It's not about trust." He turns to face me. " it's about getting the job done right."

"Ah,So you don't trust me to get the job done. I knew it."

Anakin sighed " Gamora I never said—-"

"No." I stoped him from finishing a sentence "no, it's okay I understand I'm young adult whos still being treated like a kid"

"Come on if you listen to me."

"Well, if you don't trust me. Then maybe you should send me back." I crossed my arm.

"Oh you're worse than my padawan"

"If you're both finished with your little discussion, we do have a factory to destroy" we turned to see master luminera walking 🚶‍♀️ towards us with her padawan. "Well barriss, aren't you gonna introduce yourself?"

The padawan bows in front of me "padawan learner barriiss offee ya your service"

I looked to her in confusion put then out my hand out  "glad to meet you. I'm Gamora" she grabs my hand as I lift her up.

"It's good to see you both again" anakin says.

"I wis it was under more peaceful circumstances." Luminara tells us as she puts up the holomap "a frontal assault is risky our losses will be high."

"But not as high as they'll be if that factory comes online" Anakin said.

"Indeed, but there is an alternative. Every geonosian building has a series of catacombs beneath it  that run deep uneaseground" She said.

"Some of the tunnels are close enough to this cliff wall so that you could cut a hole and make entry point." Harris adds

Luminara continues "once, inside, we could find the main reactor, plant the explosives and blow the factory inside out."

"It look like a good way to get lost if you ask me" I said with my arms crossed.

"For the unprepared perhaps, but I have instructed Harris to memorize the labyrinth, all 200 junctions."

"You always were throurough" anakin compliments Luminara.

"It pays for one to be prepared. Right barriss" she looks to her padawan.
