Edmund's POV:

We were towing the boat down a river, I was steering and Peter was rowing.

We were all looking at the trees on top of the cliff.

"They're so still." Lucy said.

"They're trees... what did you expect?" The dwarf said making us all look at him.

"They used to dance." Lucy said.

"It was only about 9 months after you lot left, that the Telmarines invaded. They knew the state of Queen (Y/n) and used it to their advantage." He explained.

"What state was she in?" I asked concerned.

"You mean you don't know?" He asked confusing all of us.

"Don't know what?" I asked.

"When you left, she was pregnant." He said.

Wait...

WHAT?!

"What do you mean she was pregnant?" I asked, shocked.

"9 months after you lot left Queen (Y/n) went into labour, and when the Telmarines knew about this that invaded." He explained.

"What happened?" I asked concerned.

"She managed to get as many of us to retreat to the woods as she could, including herself. The trees retreated so far into themselves that they haven't been heard from since."

"What happened (Y/n) and the baby?" I asked.

"She hid in the woods with some other Narnians and gave birth to her daughter."

"What's the baby called?" I asked.

"She named her Princess Elizabeth Lucy Pevensie." He said.

"How do you know all this?" I asked.

"She told me." He said.

"What? You mean she's still alive?" I asked confused.

"Yes. But I will let her explain that when we see her." He said.

"I don't understand... how could Aslan have let this happen?" Lucy asked sadly.

"Aslan? Thought he abandoned us when you lot did." The dwarf said making us all feel guilty.

"We didn't mean to leave, you know." Peter said glumly as he stopped rowing.

"Makes no difference now, does it?" He asked.

"Get us to the Narnians... and it will." Peter said.

~~~
We rowed up to shore, Lucy got out as the dwarf put the anchor in the ground and Peter, Susan and I pulled the boat onto the beach.
"Hello, there." We heard Lucy say.
We all stopped pulling and looked over to see her walking towards a bear.
"It's all right. We're friends." She said walking closer.
"Don't move, Your Majesty." The dwarf said trying to stop her.
She looked back confused and the bear started running towards her.
She looked at the bear then started running.
Peter and I quickly grabbed our swords from the boat as Susan raised her bow.
"Stay away from her!" She yelled aiming at the bear.
Lucy fell on the ground.
"Shoot, Susan! Shoot!" I yelled as I started running towards Lucy, Peter following behind me.
Lucy screamed and an arrow was shot at the bear hitting it in the chest.
We looked at Susan and saw the arrow still in her bow, then looked behind her and saw that the dwarf had shot it.
"Why wouldn't he stop?" Susan asked as she lowered her bow.
"I suspect he was hungry." The dwarf said walking over to Lucy and the bear.
Peter and I ran towards Lucy.
We held our swords in front of us invade the bear got up.
Peter picked up Lucy and hugged her.
"Thanks." She said.
"He was wild." I said confused.
"I don't think he could talk at all." Peter said.
"Get treated like a dumb animal long enough, that's what you become. You may find Narnia a more savage place than you remember." The dwarf said getting out his dagger and cutting into the bear.
This caused Lucy to bury her face in Peter's chest for she did not want to look, and she started crying.
