66. Engagement blunder

I entered his engagement hall, it was beautifully decorated. I wish my wedding had happened with so many arrangements.

But unfortunately my marriage started on a paper and ended on a paper. Just a piece of paper bought me and him together and then separated us too.

I saw him standing on the stage with Ari, as he happily slid a ring on her fourth finger. While mine always remained empty. He never gave me a ring.

I moved my eyes away from the couple as tear started to gather around. And that's when I saw someone.

Jake.

He was speaking to someone. Something seemed off. I went closer to hear their conversation.

"Don't miss your aim. Yoongi must die today. Go upstairs and take your position. When it's exactly 9 on the clock you fire." I froze on my place as I heard  Jake instruct the boy. I saw the boy moving upstairs and setting up a gun. He was a sniper.

I looked at the clock it was 8:55pm. 

My feet started moving on their on and I went towards Yoongi. I have to save him.

I climbed up on the stage, I was breathing heavily as I saw red dot on his suit near his heart.

"Yoongi..." I called but it came as whisper, still he heard it. He looked at me as his smile dropped and a frown came up on his face. Tears didn't stop leaving my eyes.

"What are you doing here? And why are you crying? Did someone say anything to you? Tell me what's wrong? Is everything okay?" He kept on asking as he held my shoulder.

I was too shocked to say anything, the way he was worried for me got me on cloud 9.

"Why the fuck are you crying, Mrs. M-" He stopped as he realised what he was about to say. "Rose" he quickly covered up.

That's when my eyes caught the red dot again, I cupped his face and said "Yoongi you need to go. Your life is in danger you have to leave, Jake he...no no just leave I'll explain things later on."

"Rose, what-" "Can't you understand the meaning of leave? Just leave!" I raised my voice a little.

That's when my eyes feel on the clock. It's was exactly 9 pm.

Without thinking twice I came in front of Yoongi protectively as I heard a gun fire.

I could hear everyone screaming in the hall. I could see them running.

I felt immense pain in my shoulder, as I looked down I could see blood.

All blood.

All red.

I started to lose my balance, as Yoongi held me slowly.

"R-rose..." He said as I fell in is lap.

"Call the ambulance!!!!!" he yelled.

I could see tears in his eyes as a smile came on my face.

"Rose, hang on there, okay. Nothing is going to happen to you." He said.

"I-it's al-alright. I-I am happy that-that I at-least got t-to see worry o-on y-your face for m-me." I said as I slowly brought up my hand to wipe his tears. 

He slowly took my hand in his hand.

"You will not die on me, Rose." He said sternly as he picked me up and I slipped into unconciousness.
