This is a request by @AllisonTart . Apologies, I've been swamped with other matters. Hope you like it. :)

"Hey! Knock it off, pretty boy!" Joey complained, lunging for Seto.

"At least I didn't grow up in a hellhole like Brooklyn," Seto fires back, his arms crossed as he strides away.

"Hey, knock it off," I scold both of them.

"Thanks, (Y/N)," Joey says, calming down as Yugi and Yami hold his arms to keep him from going anywhere.

I nod, as Téa walks over to me. "Hey (N/N)," she greets. "So, do you know when you'll tell him?" She asks me, tilting her head.

I shrug. I told her about my crush on Seto, and I don't know how to even approach the guy. He's cold as stone all the time. "I don't know, Téa. Any ideas?"

She taps her glossed lips, humming. "Maybe ask Mokuba if you can go over to the mansion. Say you want to sign up for the Battle City Tournament or something," she suggests.

I nod. "Okay, sure. I'll try that. Besides, Mokuba likes me well enough." I smile and hug her. "Okay, well we got to get to class. Come on!"

*Time Skip*

"Hey, (Y/N)!" Mokuba called, racing towards me after the last bell rang. "Ready to go?"

I nodded. "Sure! Lead the way."

Mokuba chatted with me the whole time, making me feel comfortable around him. He even told me some things I never knew about his brother. Maybe Seto isn't as cold as I always thought....

When we arrived, the bodyguards went into full protection mode.

"Hey! Knock it off. Stand down," Mokuba scolded them.

"Sorry sir."

Mokuba told them my first and last name before ushering me into the mansion. "Oh, and Seto will sign you up for the tournament. He's in his office, just upstairs and first door to the left."

I nodded. "Thanks, Mokuba."

I walked up the stairs and turned left, finding Seto's door with a golden label: Seto Kaiba, CEO of Kaiba Corp. I rolled my eyes with a smirk, of course he had a sign on his own door in his own home.

I knocked three times in quick succession. "Come in," I heard Seto call.

I entered, opening the door. He didn't look up from his computer. Instead, all he offered was a terse greeting. "Have a seat."

I sat at a chair in front of his desk and clasped my hands, waiting patiently for him to finish typing. He finally looked up at me, closing his laptop.

"So, Mokuba tells me you wanted to sign up for the tournament," Seto stated tersely, clasping his hands together and placing his elbows on his desk. "However, my database shows that you are already registered."

I nodded. "Yes, I actually have something else I needed to add to that," I said, looking down to fidget with my hands. "I have something I need to tell you... It's rather cheesy, but it's from my heart..." I started to panic and took a deep breath.

Seto sat there, unphased. I couldn't read him. That was more than my nerves could handle. I got up and excused myself from the room, telling him to disregard whatever I was mumbling about. "No, don't worry about it. I'm just wasting your time. Sorry."

I darted out of the house, disappearing on one of the many buses that ran around Domino City.
