[A/N]: This is from my Halloween special. So if you're lost, you may want to go back and read that. Have fun!

*********************************************************************

I teamed up with Yusei, Jack, and Crow. The five groups split up: my group was sent to the basement of all places.

I shivered at the thought. Sure, this was my own house, but the basement is not the ideal place to be, especially on Halloween night. Yusei and I were leading the way, with Jack and Crow behind us, - arguing about who was being a scaredy-cat. When we reached the door of the basement, we all stopped.

I shook my head, gathering my courage.  "I'll go,"  I said, flicking my flashlight on. Yusei grabbed my arm.

"You are not going alone."  His warm touch made me blush, as I looked away and nodded.

We all made our way down the stairs, the wooden staircase creaking with each step we took. An old towel was hanging from the banister, and I grabbed it. I used it to wipe away some of the spiderwebs that blocked our path.

When we reached the bottom of the stairs, we heard a loud noise from what was supposedly my storage room. We exchanged worried glances, as we slowly made our way over.

I shined my light around, scanning everything... Dusty decorations for each holiday, boxes of wrapping paper and bows, another box of gift bags and tissue paper, my Christmas decorations... I then noticed a doll sitting in the corner.

"Um, is that yours?"  I heard Crow whisper to me.

I shook my head.  "I've never owned a doll like that,"  I answered, as we all carefully eyed the doll before turning around.

"Wait,"  A voice said.

"Hm? Was that you guys?"  I asked, fear rising in my chest.

They shook their heads.

I turned around, my (Y/E/C) eyes widening as I laid them back on the doll. I gasped, as I saw the doll now standing up, looking straight at me.

"Come play with me,"  The doll spoke, in a little girl's voice. "I've been down here for years. It's the least you could do for ignoring me,"  She continued, the head on the doll tilting in question.

"Umm,... w-what game?"  I asked, trying to play along, even though the guys were trying to pull me away.

"Let's play hide and seek. I'll count, and you hide...but if I find you,"  She trailed, an evil laugh rising in her voice.  "Then I get to kill you!"

My eyes widened as the boys pulled me away.  "Run!" We ran away, back up the stairs, locking the door behind us.

"Where are you going?"  Another voice called out to us. This time, a male voice.

I screamed as I saw a masked man stalking towards me with a machete.  "Go the other way!"  I yelled, as the boys and I scrambled to turn around.

As we ran down another hallway, we stopped abruptly, as there were knives, axes, machetes, and the such hanging from the ceiling - dripping with blood.

"In here!"  I yelled, ushering the boys into my bedroom. I slammed and locked the door.

We all were breathing heavy, my heartbeat the only thing that filled my ears.

"Why hello there,"  A male voice said, as the door to my closet creaked open. A man with a sleeve of tattoos running down his right arm stepped out of the closet, closing the door gently behind him.  "I am so glad to see other normal people. You would not believe the chaos that has gone on in this house. First, a guy with a machete, then a creepy doll,..."  He shivered as he looked at me.  "That is just a costume, right?"

I looked down, remembering my zombie costume.  "Oh, yeah,"  I laughed nervously, smiling shyly at him.  "I guess I forgot about it with all the chaos."

He nodded.  "Oh, where are my manners? I'm Sean,"  He stuck out his hand.

I smiled in relief and shook it.  "I'm (Y/N). These are my friends,"  I gestured towards the boys.

They all introduced themselves, but they still seemed to be on edge.  "How did you get in here, Sean?"  I inquired, looking up at the mysterious male.

"I was out for a walk with the kids I babysit. Then, out of nowhere, a guy with a chainsaw comes running after us. The kids ran into their friends, and went off somewhere. I just chose a random house to seek shelter in. I hope the kids are alright,"  Sean sighed, worry crossing his pale face.

"I hope they are too... Um, do you guys mind if I change real fast?"  I asked awkwardly, standing up.  "Is the closet free of any psychos, Sean?"  I asked, turning to the black haired male.

He nodded.  "Last time I checked. But just be quick. You never know when one of those crazies will show up."

I nodded, smirking at his attempt at a joke. I stepped into my closet, flicking the single lightbulb on. I left the door open just a crack, just in case I had to run out because I met one of the crazies Sean was referring to. I changed quickly, slipping a ripped and loose T-shirt over my head, and ripped jeans on over my (Y/S/C) legs. I jammed my feet into combat boots, which were much easier to run in than the heeled boots I wore with my costume.

"Okay, who's next?"  I jokingly asked, as I stepped out of the closet.

The boys were nowhere to be found...  "Guys? Is this a joke?"  I asked, my voice cracking.

"I think they ran away,"  Sean's voice rang out, as he stepped out of the shadows, pushing himself off the wall of the corner of my room.

"What? Why?"  I asked, as Sean stepped closer to me.

I couldn't see his face, as he had put his hood up.  "Oh, I don't know... Maybe because I made a deal with them,"  He started, his voice becoming creepy.  "I said if I let them go, they had to promise not to come back for you..."  He let out an evil laugh.  "Guess you can't trust anyone,"  He said, as he let a knife slip down his sleeve.

"W-wait!"  I stuttered, thinking quickly.  "If I help you kill people, will you let me live?"  I asked, standing my ground as he stalked towards me.

He tilted his head.  "Ooh, talk about betrayal,"  He laughed, but this time, it was more of a 'normal' laugh.  "You'll have to prove to me you can kill first. So, here is the list of the names of your attendees. Pick one, and kill them. Oh, and if you fake their death, you are so dead,"  He added, peeling off his hood, revealing a sinister smile.

I nodded.  "Got a spare weapon, by chance?"  I asked, placing a hand on my hip.

He nodded.  "You are in luck, my lady,"  He handed me his knife, pulling a butcher's knife from his other sleeve.

"Now, choose,"  He said, handing me the list and a red pen.
