The creature once again sat alone in the flowerfield...
No way to fly and no flowers for it to love....
This creature was now hopelessly alone in a desolate field...
With nothing to love and nothing to comfort it....
So indescribably alone....

Nights in Snowbringer Vale were often rich and lively. Even though there were a small amount of people, they'd come out to eat and dance under the moonlight...most specifically making merry. It was almost always joyous, as the nights signified freedom from the world's troubles.
Yet, this night in particular was bare, empty...most likely due to the unpleasant rain that came down in droves the longer the night passed by. Couples, moving people and astray teenagers would open their umbrellas to escape the harsh downpour.... all except little 14 year old Zahri.
Unfortunately for him, Zahri had left the house without an umbrella...and was now forced to face the consequences. He was cycling along his way home in the cold embrace of the night, rain water softly trickling down his spine and hair...carefully grazing his cheeks. The water's frozen embrace encased his body like a cold, dead carcass; more than just mildly unpleasant. Zahri could barely pay attention to the road, much less the steadiness of his bike. Though, up ahead..sat a store with a small sunshade; barren of others seeking shelter from the rain. It was the perfect place for him to take cover until it subsided enough to cycle his way home.
A few minutes after he'd taken the shelter from the gloomy weather, Zahri gradually began to rid himself of any remaining water that soaked his clothing. He wrang out his t-shirt and his hair, slicked the water off his face and removed his beyond uncomfortable shoes. Thankfully, the building had a warm light pultruding from it's grand store window, so he didn't worry too much about catching a cold or being drowned in endless shivers.
Once the cold rain water bothered him no-more, Zahri huffed in exhaustion as he leant on his bike, staring out into the darkened streets of Snowbringer Vale indifferently, hoping the rain would cease before his mother began to worry about his whereabouts. The careless pitter-pattering sound of the rain drowned out his thoughts and, soon enough, he became still...still like undisturbed waters..his body and his soul morphing within the rain to a calmed state and his eyes fluttering shut as the beauty of nature enveloped him wholly...he was somewhat free... for the first time in a prolonged time.
"Why are you just standing there? Want to catch a cold?" Zahri's eyes instantly shot open before turning to the sound of a such a sweet, lilted voice. What he wasn't expecting...was such a magnificent woman, iris' that were pale in colour....ears that imitated a doe's and facial skin that cracked at every inch, truly magnificent indeed. Zahri had lived in this backwater town for almost a year...and he had never met such a striking person. Simply looking at her gave him goosebumps.
"Come in. I'll help you dry up."

The ticking of the nearby grandfather clock, bounced within the walls like an eager grasshopper. Resonating in the ears of whoever roamed within its reach. This same vintage grandfather clock was the one that Zahri bleakly peered at, mesmerised by its uniformed valour of the pendulum, that swung side to side so effortlessly.
"Ah....yes this clock...My mother gifted me this clock when i turned 38. She always used to say it reminded her of my father, lovely isn't it?" Hearing his words, Zahri snapped out of his haze, redirecting his attention to the "always cheery" Mr. Grantis. He'd been highly recommended for guidance counseling by Miss Yee after the questioning situation and ever since that faithful day, for two weeks, Zahri had been commissioned to go to Guidance counseling/therapy with Mr. Grantis first thing in the morning.
