Despaired and unimaginably hurt....the creature fell into an incredibly deep slumber.....

A slumber which carried memories of the field when it was abundant....

A slumber which lasted for longer than a millenium....

It was only when a majestic creature, unknown to the field, had set foot unto it, had the little creature finally awoke....

Kaylen got up abruptly as he took both his sister and his Boyfriend's hand, smiling a bit more ungenuinely than before. He practically hoisted the two up from their seats and lead them to the cafeteria stores, waving pleasantly to Zahri as they did. Once they were situated at the very back of the line to the frozen treat isle, Kaylen dropped the barely believable guise he'd displayed to Zahri, revealing the horrid mess he'd developed into. "Zahri has been way too stressed lately, he could barely even stand up just a few minutes ago and now he's in this stupidly crowded cafeteria!"

"You know how he is..." Mirai reminded the frantical Kaylen.

"Yeah- a stubborn ass who can't just take a break for once! Or atleast tell people what's going on or...something!" He rebuttled whilst waving his hands around willy-nilly.

The others within the line stared at Kaylen, flashing him looks of found peculiarity. Though, Kaylen simply stared harshly right back at them, strongly suggesting for them to stop and just mind their own business.

At the end of the day, all Kaylee could do was exasperatedly sigh, "I was stupid to think he could handle it...I mean...look at the guy." She said pointing. There he was, Zahri Asghar, staring deeply at his food bowl as if it in of itself had the answer to life. All Kaylen could do was shake his head and sigh when he discovered such. "To be honest, can we blame him? Even he said everything has been way too much for him to handle- it didn't help that, that dumbass Roy Penbrum basically got him even more riled up than usual." He stated bluntly whilst rolling his eyes in annoyance.

"Knowing Zahri he's probably forgotten all about that now so that he could try to stay calm. Though it doesn't seem like it's really helping..." Mirai responded.

"You're so right..." Kaylen added before peeking once more at the idle boy.

Soon enough, the three held off on the matter to focus on obtaining the soft, frozen treat for Zahri to eat and, fortunately, it didn't take very long for them to reach a few people away from the counter. This encouraged Kaylen to speak up again, "You know what I heard while we were looking for Zahri in the Science classes?"

"What?" Mirai inquired, a single eyebrow raised in intrigue.

"That asshole, Roy Penbrum? Got his ass handed to him by some kid from 5C. Crazy right? I didn't believe it at first- but not seeing him down at his usual lunch table today is a dead giveaway."

The three friends all shared knowing glances between each other, "It's gotta be some stupid rumour Lennie, I mean come on, Roy? With his Mountain build? Please...I'll believe that when pigs fly!" Kaylee protested.

All of a sudden, a distinct smashing sound aired from behind and the three friends who were deep in conversation, briefly paused to find the source. To their suprise, Zahri was knocked unto the cafeteria floors along with a boy who was undoubtedly injured.

Ayani gazed hopefully out of her kitchen window, where only the slowly rising sun and the enchanting sea air could greet her. A peaceful scenery which met an inherently peaceful woman was not so short from perfection, yet, the atmosphere that the day prior forced upon her home was enough to dampen it significantly; The terrors her son was experiencing.
