A little creature sat in a flower field, waiting for the wind to pick up so it could fly far, far away......
Yet, the wind hadn't picked up enough in so long, that the little being had learnt to walk.....
The creature sat and waited and waited and waited until such a thing would occur.....
But the wind never came.....
Not until the storm....

Zahri stared absentmindedly out of the car window, his mind phasing in and out of reality. The scenery that lay before him contained the tall, rolling peaks of snowcapped mountains... which stood majestically behind the small, insignificant town of Snowbringer Vale. The town that carried the always atmospheric Ms. Moniker's bakery, the majestic St. Marina High School, the barrage of tiny but pleasing houses, the magnificent Snowily Coast, Mr. Henry's miscellaneous shop and of course.... what used to be... Miss Penny's Flower-
"Riri you ready?" Zahri's mother pleasantly inquired as she embarked the vehicle, front passenger seat. Pulled out of his haze, the disoriented Zahri said, "Yeah...." as he adjusted himself in the back seat of their car. Although the avid beauty of Snowbringer Vale was something that he'd grown to love over the three years he'd been living there, there was something irreplaceable about the city. Blazing accomplishments, Familial bonds and the Joys of early childhood, was all Zahri could think about when it came to the idea of it...in other words...quote and quote "good memories..." as others would refer to it.
Zahri took another gaze out of the Car's slightly tinted window to be met with something a little different from what he was expecting. Right near the car itself, stood Zahri's Father speaking with his three friends, Kaylee, Kaylen and Mirai. He didn't know exactly what they were conversing about, but it somehow had the reason to include both Kaylee and Kaylen giving him a rather fancy envelope. Shortly after he had received said envelope, the man entered the car, handing it to Zahri.
Taking a brief scan of the envelope encouraged Zahri to take one last look out the window. The three of his friends continued to stand near to the car but now they were waving frantically at him. They smiled from ear to ear, jumping up and down so eagerly, that it felt as if they were celebrating their last time face-to-face. In the end, Zahri couldn't help but wave back at them, though not as enthusiastically, one meaning just the same.
Soon they took off, moving off farther and farther into the distance, with the trio slowly disappearing with it. They gradually morphed into smaller silhouettes of their true selves, then lines, then dots...until all Zahri could see of Snowbringer Vale...was the background's ginormous mountain peaks and the small outlines of the town's buildings.

To Zahri who was casually glued to the scenery outside the car window, the world looked rushed, like the hurried strokes of a painting. Though simple, it was oddly serene, reminding him of the sceneries that would play out in a perfectly colorful story.
Yet, in reality, it was simply their car speeding down the increasingly long highway. Where cars gradually began to trickle in, and lanes upon lanes of roads intersected with the main road to Snowbringer Vale. Soon enough, all Zahri could see outside of his window was the hood of another car, speeding along the busy highway with them.
Due to the cars obstructing the stunning view, his mind no longer lay distracted... causing it to run amok and spiral into a state he hated dearly. Zahri tightly clenched the elegant envelope whilst he rubbed his temple.... thoughts of the past tracing his mind as a graceful heron would its fond waters.
