Chapter 9: The Punishment

Callie's POV:
I sat on Jake's palm as he carried me back to their house. The others were in the clutches of their respected captors. Scared was an understatement. I had no clue what he had planned. And at the size he is at, compared to all of us....he could hurt us or even kill us with ease. "What are you going to do to us?" I whispered, forgetting about the fact, that he could hear me. "You will see soon enough." He answered coldly.

Jake's POV:
I walked to the dining table, Callie still in my hand. I looked back to make sure my brothers weren't too far behind and saw them following me. "Jake, is this necessary?" Alan asked. "Alan...they need to know the consequences in order not to try an escape again." I said, placing the tiny girl on the table, signaling the others to do the same to the other humans. My brothers all hesitated at first, but obliged after Alan placed his human down next to mine.
I then turned to them: "Alright everyone, could you please move back a little? I need more space." I said, causing everyone to move away, forming a semi circle. I then turned to the girls. This should be good....

Third Person POV:
Jake watched the humans, all shaking in fear, avoiding his gaze. 'That won't do' He thought as he hastily slammed both of his fists on the table, causing the girls to scream. "LOOK AT ME!!!" The giant yelled, louder than he had intended. The girls all looked at him, fear present in all of their eyes. "WHAT WAS THAT STUNT YOU PULLED ON US? Jake asked, loudly. He waited for an answer, but when received none, he quickly slammed his hand on the table, causing a loud bang. "IF NONE OF YOU WILL TELL ME WILLINGLY, I WILL HAVE TO FORCE THE ANSWERS OUT OF YOU." He said, loudly. He turned to the girls, trying to figure out, which one was the most terrified out of them and soon enough his eyes landed on Nina, who was trying her hardest not to cry. "YOU." He said, grabbing her harshly. "WHAT WAS THAT STUNT YOU PULLED ON US???" He yelled at her. The poor girl began to shake more violently. "ANSWER ME!!!" Jake continued. "W-we w-wanted to es-scape." The girl stuttered out. "AND WHY EXACTLY WOULD YOU DO THAT?" The giant said, tightening his grip on her.
Meanwhile, Luke watched the actions unfold from behind Jake. He was worried for the human. She looked absolutely terrified of his brother.
"WILL YOU ANSWER ME OR DO I HAVE TO SQUEEZE THE LIFE OUT OF YOU!!!" Jake yelled. "Stop it!!!! You're hurting her!!!" Meghan yelled, causing the giant to turn to her. "If you little friend won't provide me with the answer....perhaps you will..." Jake said, dropping Nina on the table. Jake then proceeded to flick the girl, causing her to tumble and fall. She soon felt hot tears spilling from her eyes. 'Weak' Jake thought as he watched her run back to her friends. He'd have to deal with that later. He turned his attention back to Meghan, who was looking down at the floor. He placed his finger underneath her chin, forcing her to look at him. "NOW, TELL ME!!!" He yelled. "WHY WOULD YOU ESCAPE??" Meghan didn't respond as she continued to shake with fear. She then felt herself being lifted up into the air in a tight grip. "WILL YOU ANSWER OR....SHOULD I CRUSH EVERY LITTLE BONE IN YOUR BODY???" Jake continued, slowly losing his patience. "W-we just wanted to go h-home, to our college." Meghan answered, trying not to cry. "AND WHY WOULD YOU DISOBEY LIKE THAT!!!" Jake said, tightening his grip around her. "W-we j-just wanted to go h-home..." Meghan pleaded.
Henry watched as his brother continued to torture his human, clenching his fists. Barely able to contain himself from charging right at Jake.
Jake then dropped her back on the table. "Get out of my sight before I flick you." He said, causing the girl to run behind her friends. Jake then thought of what he could do next and his eyes landed on Hyun-a. 'Let's see long the oldest takes until she too cracks like her friends' He thought, dragging the girl away from the others. "TELL, ME WHY DID YOU WANT TO GO HOME???" He asked, loudly. "W-we don't j-just camp everyday. We have our lives and subjects to study. Don't you guys go to college?" She asked. "AND WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT TO ASK A QUESTION!!!" He yelled, causing her to cover her ears. "I ASK THE QUESTIONS, NOT YOU...YOU WORTHLESS LITTLE BUG!!!" Jake said, grabbing her in a tight fist.
Alan could barely contain himself. His brother had now gone after his little human. He could tell how terrified the girl was. He just hoped his brother wouldn't hurt her more than he already had.
Jake then dropped Hyun-a onto the table. She was now crying her eyes out. "For the oldest, you are very weak. I expected more out of you." He said. At that moment, Mia carefully ran to her friend and helped her up, helping her walk to the others. "And WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING...LITTLE MOUSE." He said, flicking Mia to the ground. "WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO GO HOME? TO TELL EVERYONE, THAT YOU SAW GIANTS??!!" Jake yelled. "We weren't going to tell anyone...I s-swear on behalf of my friends." Mia cried. "YOU WANT ME TO BELIEVE THAT??" Jake yelled, grabbing her. "I swear....we wouldn't tell anyone...."Mia cried. 'Fine be it your way' Jake thought, dropping her next to the girls. "HEY, REDHEAD!!!!" He yelled, pointing at Astrid. "I HAVE ONE LAST QUESTION TO ASK YOU..." He spoke, loudly. "W-what question?" Astrid asked, causing her to gulp in regret after remembering what he had done to Hyun-a for asking him a question. Jake didn't do anything in response, knowing she was already very scared and went straight to the point. "WHO'S IDEA WAS IT? TO ESCAPE!!!" He yelled, shaking her violently. "It was...." Jake was getting impatient. "JUST SAY IT!!!" He screamed at her. "It was my idea." Callie interfered, stepping out to the front. "SO...YOU REALLY THOUGHT YOU COULD ESCAPE???" He yelled at her. "You've kidnapped us and held us hostage here against our will." Callie responded. "I TOLD YOU, IT IS TO KEEP THE GIANTS SAFE!!!" He yelled at her. "We wouldn't tell anyone...and if anyone found out about your existence, how would they be able to slay you? Creatures much...much bigger than us..." Callie said. "YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT YOUR KIND IS CAPABLE OF. ESPECIALLY WHEN TOGETHER." The giant yelled, grabbing her in a tight fist. "I WILL TEACH YOU TO NEVER DISOBEY ME LIKE THAT." He continued, pressing his nails into her side, scratching her, causing the girl to scream in pain. He then proceeded to drop her on the table, flicking her in the process. "NEVER EVER DISOBEY ME AGAIN." The giant yelled, grabbing her chin. Callie ran to the others, not wanting him to know how terrified she was. "My work is done here, now if I may, I am heading to bed." Jake said, leaving the room.
Callie's POV:
I took my rope out of my bag. "Come on, let's get out of this table." I said. "Where do we go?" Nina asked. "To the house. I need to hide from each one of these giants." I answered. "I am coming too." Meghan asked. "Me too." Astrid said. "Don't forget about me." Hyun-a chimed in. "And me."Mia said. We carefully climbed down using my rope, that I tied to a nail. "Let's run." Hyun-a suggested. "I agree." I answered, as well all ran into the "doll"house.

Alan's POV:
I watched as Hyun-a and her friends ran into the dollhouse. Probably trying not hide from us. Poor things...."Should we umm....go to them?" Henry asked. "Noo, it is best we give them space for now." I said as I walked away to my bed with my brothers following me close behind. Let's hope things don't end bad....
