An ice block dropped onto a desk, giving a thump

An ice block dropped onto a desk, giving a thump. The large man hummed to the tune while he used a chainsaw to cut through it cleanly. He laughs as he walks over to his desk and grabs his tools, passing his elves.

"Still waiting for cookies!" he exclaimed causing his elves to stop eating the cookies.

He dragged his chair to the ice and rummages through his tools and grabs a tiny hammer before sculpting on the ice. It takes him a while but he didn't mind as he finished his last project.

He blew on the iced sculpture of a locomotive, dusting away the snow and placing it on the iced track. He laughs as the iced train belched ice vapor and rode down the track.

He glances to his side, seeing his elves giving him a plate of cookies. "Ah, finally!" he grinned as the locomotive launches off. Wings sprouted out and jet engines fired as it flew in the air.

Unfortunately, it didn't last long as the door was thrown open and smashed the locomotive into pieces. A concerned yeti entered and blabbered but stopped to see the locomotive on the ground in pieces.

North exclaimed in shock as the yeti also gasped at his mistake. North groans once again as the yeti gasps once more.

North sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose, "How many times have I told you to knock?!"

He turned to the yeti but the yeti blabbered again and pointed outside the office. North frowned. "What? The Globe?"

He stood up and walked out of the office as the elves and yetis followed to see what was going on. His eye twitched in irritation to see the elves were in the way and stomped through.

"Shoo with your pointy heads. Why are you always under boot?"

He shoved through his yetis and looked up at the globe. It was of all continents with flickering lights in every single one. He frowned as the lights were flickering before going out.

"What is this?" he frowned further. "Have you checked the axis? Is rotation balanced?"

One of the yeti blabbered again and shook his head. North looked back to the globe but stopped as a sudden wind carried around the place as black sand started to envelop the globe in complete darkness. The elves scattered in fear while North kept watching.

The sand flies above the snow before it exploded and dissipates in the air.

North turned around in time to see a shadow dragging on the ground past him to the walls. The shadow grew as a dark figure laughed around the fortress and disappeared.

North stiffened, looking where the shadow was last kept. "Can it be?" His eyes widened, "Dingle."

The elves grinned, pointing at themselves but grew confused as they weren't sure who he was calling for.

"Make preparations! We are going to have some company," North murmured gravely and twists and pushes his emergency lever as aurora lights shined through the globe and shoot out to the sky.
