Jack grunts and screams in frustration over everything. He betrayed his friends, his feelings were all over the place and it was all his fault.
Jack screamed once more as he landed in Antarctica. His emotions spiraled as it rapidly snowed around him. He gripped his capsule and ran to the edge, flinging his arm back.
But he couldn't do it.
Jack groaned as he looked down at the capsule, he was once again alone. All for something he wanted that he couldn't have...
"I'm sorry, Jack," Yoltzin whispered, a few steps away from him.
"I thought this might happen," Pitch spoke too. "They never believed in you. But I understand."
Jack's eyes welled up in resentment and swung his ice at her with a scream but Pitch was quick to shield them with his dark sand. "You don't understand anything!"
But Jack didn't let his anger fall, he struck and struck at them while Pitch used his power to stop it all the while Yoltzin sadly looked at him from behind.
"No?! I don't know what it's like to be cast out?!" Pitch glared at him in disbelief and threw sand at him but Jack froze them too. He jumped high in the air and roared as he struck down at them but Pitch was quick to intercept it, creating powder of sand everywhere.
"To not be believed in?! To long for...a family!" Pitch shouted while Jack aimed at him. Jack's eyes softened in compassion but didn't let down his guard.
"All those years in the shadows we thought, no one else knows what this feels like. But now we see we were wrong."
"You don't have to be alone, Jack," Yoltzin took a step forward as she raised a hand to Jack, causing him to stiffen.
"I believe in you," Pitch nodded to Yoltzin. "She believes in you. And I know children will too."
"In me?" Jack frowned.
"Yes!" Pitch laughed as he guided the boy to see their iced shadow sculpture in front of them. It was beautifully crafted with sharp ends like thorns along with spare dark spots. It was mourning yet beautiful.
"Look at what we can do!" Pitch encouraged. "What goes better than cold and dark? We can make them believe. We'll give them a world where everything, everything is–"
"Pitch Black?" Jack asked.
Pitch blinked, taking in his words. "La Llorona and Jack Frost too. They'll believe in both of us and accept Yoltzin for who she is!"
Yoltzin's eyes softened as she looked at the ground. Jack didn't miss seeing her reaction.
"No, they'll fear the both of us. And that's not what I want." He gripped his staff before walking away. "Now, for the last time. Leave me alone!"
Jack glanced at Yoltzin. His eyes fell to the ground in goodbye before walking away from her. Yoltzin raised a hand to stop him but knew better than to not force him as much as she wants to.
